Here is the easiest way to watch the game for Saints fans. 1/ go to Saints offical web site the Hamilton v St Mirren page. Click the link to watch this game. Then it's a simple register and pay. I wrongly tried to purchase the game from Hamilton's official site. I registered there but could not purchase the ppv game.

How much are Accies charging ?

£15 expensive compared to us even Rangers TV. You want to watch your team what to do. Free streaming is out there but it's a hit and a miss. So I go through offical channels.

Rangers almost had twice as many shots from open play against St Mirren than St Johnstone (21 v 11).

39% of St Mirrens game was played in their third, compared to 25% for St Johnstone.

St Mirren allowed 15 shots inside the box, St Johnstone allowed 7.

St Mirren got 1 shot away inside the box, St Johnstone had 3.

I'm not sure what "stats" you've found that are similar, bar the scoreline, as its quite clear St Johnstone put up more of a fight.

BBC. Let's get one thing straight mate I'm not trying to prove that St Mirren some how played better than you. We were fucking awful really bad. I found it intresting you lost 3 also. Let's say with honking stats also. If you want your stats better I have no problem with that. Going to ibrox or Parkhead will not determine our season.

While this may be lack of understanding on my part, can someone explain why getting drilled by Rangers would cause anyone outside of Celtic and maybe Hibs any concern when the wage bill of 2 players at Ibrox likely is the same of most entire clubs?

This seems like it would be similar to me as a Royals fan here in American baseball getting worried back in 95-08 that the Yankees or Red Sox were drilling us.

You go to Ibrox or Parkhead with a view Saints will come away with nothing. It's not impossible to pick up points but rare.  I for one was shocked at how bad we were at ibrox  though St Johnstone's stats were simlour to St Mirren. Your hopes are always high at the start of the season with new players in the squad. Maybe I was expecting too much from the Rangers game. St Mirren play Hamilton this Saturday that should give us a better idea where we are. There is a striker to come in while two key midfielder players have to come back from injury by September.

Rangers look very dangerous. I think they're real contenders this season.

There rotation on the park is impressive they do look stronger than last season.  St Johnstone certainty had a go compared to us watching highlights on Sportscene. Our game at ibrox knocked the stuffing out of me so it will be intresting to see what we are like at Hamilton.  Their pitch should not be a problem with us having a plastic pitch at the training ground.

Did the Rangers TV stream work well for this game?

Offical stream is as good as you will get for online streaming.  If you want to see your team as I did this is the most reliable.  You expect bias to Rangers but it's not OOT. English commentator gave a good impression of quality.  My wee review from an away fans perspective.

I know you're spoofing here, not a realistic proposition since St Mirren have done nothing to deserve the 3 points. However I can see no reason against the SPFL handing down a -3 point penalty to Celtic (and Aberdeen too) for each game postponed due to these circumstances.

I can't think of a better method of punishing the clubs whose players ignored the health protocols.

The SFA have given their statement no penalty point deduction.  Personally I dont see why both clubs deserve to be punished or their fans for that matter. This was employees who broke the rules not the clubs.  Internal disciplinary procedures should hammer these players for letting their club and fans down.

  8. Hands up I'm absolutely delighted the game is off we need more games under our belt to get up too full speed ibrox was only our forth game since pre-season started. As for Bolingoli find it strange that no one at Celtic knew he popped off to Spain for two days. In saying that I would find it hard  to believe Celtic would allow the player to travel in the first place.  Would be surprised if the club allowed him to wear the Celtic top again.

Got to say, while I'm happy for us to shitfest a game against either OF, but that was not our finest hour. Especially when you look at the result Killie got when they played their more natural game against Celtic.

If Goodwin doesn't have confidence in the team to do that I'd be concerned, although I do understand the worry of taking a tanking.

I'm as disappointed as the next fan at our tactics at ibrox. That was our forth game in our return to pre-season and the start of the league. How many games have the rangers played.

Scottish government has cancelled Celtic and Aberdeen games off for a week. SFA and SPFL have to educate rules to clubs. Cant see anything wrong with that ?

It's the SPFL who have called them off according to Sturgeon.

I watched it live did not hear that. Maybe I missed that. There is another meeting today regarding this so press conference later. I would be surprised if players breaking rules will never play for the club again.

Need to get this game over with, get the heads up and look onwards to the rest of the games this month.

Caught the 'Highlights' from yesterdays game (not a sniff of showing the penalty call) on the BBC and it looked fucking grim.  Despite advertising the game on Radio Scotland I couldn't get the commentary online or on FM/AM.  Had to listen to Radio Clyde when I was driving back down the road.  One of the many lowlights was the 'Who was the best corner taker at Ibrox'.  Cringeworthy 'yer da' criminal patter, been at least 25 years since I listened to the football on there.  Hope it's another 25 till I have to again.

Scrappy, balls to the wall defending, Celtic win 1-0 and have 80% possession.

Move along, nothing to see here.

To think what it was like with Sanderson. These days are long gone , not perfect but better R.S.  for me.

Good shout - when you think we conceded a lot of possession to LIvingston, too, the omens were always grim for yesterday/Wednesday.

I was thinking that - we can tell players in certain positions to absolutely run themselves into the ground for 60 minutes, whilst knowing we're still covered for injuries, etc, if something doesn't go to plan. Less need to pace themselves.

Really missing having a fit Ryan Flynn for these types of games.

Jim Goodwin has to take some responsibility for that performance yesterday.  I'm not calling for his head he has to have his players show far more effort at holding the ball and its distribution.

If we're to make this game any kind of a contest,  a vast improvement will be needed on yesterday's performance.

Not to give the opposition space or time on the ball was Goodwins orders . After the game Goodwin saying more of the same on Wednesday. Would be surprised if any Saints fans are actually looking forward to this game. From what I have seen from other teams we look far off top six quality.  Normality will resume this season.

My real worry after watching the Livingston game is midfield yesterday only confirmed it's a weak area for us over two games. It badly needs worked on in the training ground or we will be in trouble. Goalie and back line look organized enough the rest has much work to be done.
