The back of it is annoying the hell out of folk never mind the collar emoji23.png.

It's went from a potential 10 to an average 6.

Funnily enough when I heard it was all black my excitement at full stripes were dashed. Today for the first time I seen the all black with gold  SMFC 1877. Looks smart to my surprise. Was looking around the net for gold numbers and letters . Even names and numbers in white should look smart.

I fear for myself in those two shirts. I've not owned a St. Mirren top in about 10 years (not even 2012/13) and decided to go for them this year to help to give the club a bit of money. I ordered a XXL as I was always an XL previously and was thinking there would be plenty of room as I hate a tight fitba top.

Might need to go 3X on it. 😳

Kyle has put on a bit of waight no doubt from working out in the gym.  Kyle  probably thinks he is a medium as we all did once 😅

Yeah Sam Foley is the natural captain. Kyle’s always injured anyway so I’m sure Sam will be captain for most of the season.

Magennis should worry about proving he’s good enough at this level first.

So Goodwin makes Magennis Captain and your unsure if he can play at premiership level ? One of you are wrong will let you decide who. Granted his form dipped whether that being uncomfortable on the right or carrying a injury.  He is not is a bad player.

SPFL talking about firing our fixtures by next Friday for the league starting on 1st August.

I guess they are not overly concerned about potentially losing the legal case against them.

The SPFL wont lose the case 80% of member clubs voted for ending the season. Thats a huge percentage .

It's all up in the air, of course, but I have a feeling that when fans are allowed in then at least some of them will need to be opposition.

Away fans are not a necessity home fans should be. Would think you could get 3,000 in easy enough mouth and nose area covered. Toilets regularly cleaned during a game.  Alchol gel available in diffrent areas. At the end of the game just let out so many fans at a time. It could be done if a health & safety plan was implemented.  All depends what the virus is doing going into winter as it could peak again .

  6. Not renewed the season ticket yet having watched various games behind closed doors it just feels a damp squid.  Have the money aside unfortunately all income has stopped in our household so living on our rainy day fund. Have a buddie vision subscription so full game can be watched on a Sunday.  Just can't see crowds returning this full season unless a vaccine is forthcoming. Was thinking season ticket holders could be spread out in seats around the stadium but then toilet facilities become a problem. Should things change then I will get a season ticket gutted that I may lose my seat which has been the same one from our first season at Greenhill road. Still keeping on the SMISA membership.  Here is hoping things will change.

I've said all along I'm happy with reconstruction, and from the comments of most Saints fans on here I think the majority are quite open to the idea.

The problem I think most of us have, and I don't wish to speak for anyone but myself - however it does seem to be the case in general, is that a temporary reconstruction just to benefit Heart of Seethelothian would be of no benefit to us at all. In the short term, we've face less money and in the mid term we'd be looking to at least 2 if not 3 being relegated from the league to "return to the normal structure". By that time, it's an issue that Heart of Seethelothian will not have a single care about and will actively start on the "we tried it, but that was only under extenuating circumstances and now it's not" approach.

Currently a change to 14 would need a 11v1 vote in favour, purely because it affects finances - certainly that is my take on it, and I'm happy to be corrected if that's not the case. In a 14 team league I'd guess that would go to something like a 11v3 or 12v2 rather than 13v1 vote for change the next time round. If relocation was proposed and it was to be temporary then the only way I (personally) would find it palatable is if the return to the 12 was the same level of voting as it took the change it to 14 in the first place. Every temporary plan that's been forward has only ever been on a "it will return at some time to 12" as if it was mandatory regardless if people thought it was working well.

Agree it has to be permanent Ric.

I think everyone is missing the point that the real victims here are the St Mirren fans.

Don’t get me wrong that night in Paisley when big Jon Obika scored the goal to keep Hearts at the bottom of the table was some night but............

Imagine how good a night it could have been had we known he had actually just relegated the c***s.

I must be one of the few Saints fans who wants to see reconstruction have advocated a 14 team top league even when we were in the championship. The letter Partick Thistle put out is a emotional plea from the heart. For the good of Scottish football reconstruction is a no brainer.

  9. Why would you have such an excellent front then make the back black ? It's like you cant afford to make both sides the same. Totally bizarre it would have sold like hot cakes had both sides been the same. Can see it looking ok on the pitch with white numbers and white letters .  If I wear a top it will be the King sponsor back to front the same. Missed opportunity Saints to be one of the best selling tops of all time. Bring back Poz.

I think it might actually look OK with a black back - when you see the players in it with white names and numbers. Could look more than a bit ‘Juve’, which isn’t a bad thing. I quite like it, think it will look good ‘in the flesh’.

Agree on the park  with white number and name in white will look not bad.
