  1. Am I alone in thinking that it is a bad choice on offer to start the season on 24th knowing that there will be no relegation or promotion - if teams are allowed to drop out this season without any "punishment" then the teams who are ready to play are playing a season without hope of progress I believe the season should be delayed until guidance changes to allow fans etc then participation (even for a much shorter season) should be mandatory - so promotion and relegation at the end of what should be a "conference" season to establish what leagues club belong This seems unfair but at that point the clubs who cannot participate should be in bottom league in 21/22 We need something to play for and if fans have bought season tickets it should not be for a season of glorified friendlies
  2. Thanks However my understanding is that because we are governed by the non professionsl Board we will not be considered professional And if there is not 100% unity on what is being asked for then it is highly unlikely that any dispensation will be afforded
  3. Is the implication of this statement thst "Tier 6" should be treated differently than clubs within the Conference structure?
  4. The content that I posted was innaccurate so I have removed
  5. Thanks Keep eyes open for the SFA statement - if guidlines are 30 bodies Friendly with 2 squads of 15 must be allowed - even if ine team needs to arrive stripped Thanks for response
  6. Does anybody have any actual detail about whst we can do from Monday Is contact training got the go ahead anf can we play friendlies?
  7. What has any of this got to do with St Roch's - mentioned twice on this conversation Sorry for posting on Darvels page but what 'party' with the "big team"? Good luck to Darvel and all other clubs but keep us out your petty bickering Thank you
  8. Excuse my ignorance but do you get furlough payments for a second job too?
  9. Lot of talk about moral obligations from clubs, what about morality from players? I would assume most players get paid monthly....what exactly would they be getting paid for in April and May? They never trained, or played. Or even travelled!! The clubs had zero income in those months so surely players would not expect paid??
  10. Logic is for sane people My point was only that St Roch's and Shettleston could have similar qualms to Arthurlie and Neilaton Tbh I am not fussed who we play and if young players need to travel then it is all part of the learning ...looking forward to it
  11. Understand your frustration but if going with 14, 14, 10 why would St Roch's and Shettleston stay in Conference A when Conference B is mainly Glasgow clubs? Seems the fairest option two clubs closest to Ayrshire (you and Neilston) and the two clubs closest to Lanarkahire or East of Glasgow (us and Shettleston) are the ones who miss the "Glasgow based leagues Seems pretty fair
  12. Did not mean to come accross as anti Premier at all. Just not sure there is any realistic and fair argument for not going to 16 team divisions in year 2 The Premier League club sides kept thier status and did not get added to the Conferences as was first suggested and would have been fairest. This is honestly just for discussion but why would you not get the league numbers sorted asap which would mean just one going up from each conference and unfortunately (for those in Premier League in year 1) that would mean 7 down.
  13. No mate I can give you my details if you want but just adding my thoughts to a forum - did not think it was an ID parade
  14. My view is It should be 7 down and straight to 16 Every season after 3 up 3 down The reason we have 20 team Premier was to support the Elite teams to stay in top tier after promises of conferences involving all clubs Easy solution for those who are concerned make sure you finish top 13
