I quite often get colleagues telling what me what to do despite me knowing or just about to do it. The place is full of ex managers from old works so I guess they cant shake it off. I always thought its because I look unsure and quiet. Can get annoying and nearly said something .
Amazing the amount of people on their phone. I seen a guy on his phone held up against his ear old school style. People in my work are nightmare for it, always answering calls on the road, work culture has created that.
Anyone had experience with smaller places of work with members of family and friends who join?
Bit of a shock to me coming from a bigger place with a more level playing field.
Sounds similar to me. Can find it hard to keep up with conservations and process information. At work I'm behind and a bit slower typing. I find it hard in noisy environments. I am usually very quiet at work, find it a very social/nosy environment so put my barriers up.
Few things of late on the roads.
Lorries that go at 56mph or nothing even when its 50 mph limit on Motorway/roadworks.
Lorries overtaking lorries on a two lane dual carriageway/motorways for no reason.
White van man tailgating ye, why the rush pal.
Noticed a lady on the bus doing it other day. I thought she was on the phone to someone else as the voice notes are so long. Still not seen anyone Scottish doing it.
Its a cultural thing in some parts of the world these voice notes, I think its popular because its more like a convo with hearing their voice. I think its the same thinking with them having a phone convo on loudspeaker.
Had a look. The two rears are from 2019 and Michelin so have been on the car since new, perhaps need a replacement soon? The front one is 2022 and the one I just replaced.
