Let's not sugarcoat it Gerrard's records in the cups is really bad. 2 semi finals out of 6 is terrible. It's got to improve no question but winning the league was by the most important thing and that's been achieved at a canter this season. One thing you have to put in context is the money of it all as well. Winning both domestic cups get you about £540k while winning one Europa League group stage game gets you £495k. Last season we earned 18x as much from Europa League prize money as we would have by winning both cups. If we had lost to Legia last season but won the League Cup (or even the Scottish Cup as well) that would be seen by nearly everyone as a better season but it would have made winning the league this year a lot harder. We should have won this Scottish cup though as all distractions were out the way. That comes down on Gerrard and the players.

Poor decision to sub Morelos so early last night. Ok he wasn't playing well but with hindsight he was at least getting more chances than Roofe was. Also Kent should have been subbed. Was clearly shattered and was ineffectual.

Awful performance. Didn't deserve to go through.

This is gonna be a hard watch. Both keepers have had good games so neither should be ashamed of their own performance if they end up on the losing side.
