There are things that could be done to stop it even if they are drastic. They could make it harder for Super League clubs to get visas for players that they buy from abroad.
Depends on the definition. In terms of what is important to the Super League proponents then absolutely not. What matters is TV audiences whether international or domestic. SPFL TV figures are trending in the right direction recently but the average Rangers game on Sky gets about 413k viewers. Celtic on Sky is 371k viewers. That probably doesn't compare very well at all with the "Big 6" where you are talking millions worldwide.
Average Premier League game on Sky gets about 2m domestic viewers.
True but they also have the highest life expectancy in the world. As do many other East Asian countries. Maybe there are genetic factors involved. Ultimately we don't really know all the factors involved in length of life.
The fucking state of "the people's club" Liverpool
The reaction of fans seems nearly entirely negative but I question whether some kind of boycott would actually work.
What's the life expectancy discussion in reference to?
I'm not sure it's very easy draw an inference from specific policies to life expectancy improvements. I mean if you look at the nations that have the highest life expectancies they often widely differ in terms of what kind of economic policies they have. The difference between Norway and South Korea in terms of government spending as a % of GDP is stark for example.
Plus there is also a trade off in terms of personal freedom to consider. The United Kingdom has the 2nd most obese population in Europe which is over 5 times the rate of Japan. But perhaps state control of the people's diet isn't ideal.
McGregor
Patterson, Goldson, Helander, Barisic
Kamara, Davis, Aribo
Hagi, Morelos, Kent
That would be my line up - Roofe hasn't done a lot against Celtic for me
So unless Tier 0 lasts less than a month Pittodrie will get less than 10% capacity for European qualifying games despite Hampden having had 25% well over a month earlier? Most grounds could safely do 30% capacity now let alone in July.
