Maybe not the HL in general .   It has a bearing on how good Brora are though.

Not in the slightest.  As I said they lose that game 99 times out of 100.  It was a freak result.

Something has to give on automatic relegation and promotion between League 2,HL and LL.

Only a matter of time as more League 2 clubs drop out of the SPFL,the way back up to the SPFL is obstructed a bit right now.

One up(winner of HL/LL playoff)one down(bottom of League 2)and a play off between the 2nd bottom club in League 2 and loser of the HL/LL playoff.

As Hedge rightly points out about last nights result in Sutherland is a warning.

You've also got other strong outfits like Kelty,East Kilbride,Fraserburgh,Clydebank,Auchinleck Talbot,Bonnyrigg Rose and so on waiting in the wings....

    Really?

Hearts would beat Brora 99 times out of 100.   Last nights result has no bearing on the strength of the Highland League.  It was a one off outlier.

No need for an apology. 😅

I like to act the goat and play up to the Pie & Bovril pantomime, but at the end of the day, like the vast majority of normal folk on here, I just want this whole sorry saga wrapped up so we can get on with our lives.

And maybe then I can actually start to get bothered about how tragic Hearts have become...

You'd best pray this goes on for a good while yet then.  You'll be a mess.

It was really poor from the ref as he decided it was a try (even though when he got to it the ball was nowear near the ground) that meant that the TMO was look for definite proof that a try had not been scored. But to me the fact there was a shadow under the ball and the French players hand did not move the ball when he put it under it showed that there was no grounding.

Look I hit the roof in celebration more than anyone when jammy Wales got beat at end, but to say that ball didn't touch a blade of grass is extraordinary. It was a try and if Scotland hadn't been given that id be raging.

Touching a blade of grass isn’t grounding.  The laws don’t say you have to touch a blade of grass to score a try.

I believe the officials got that call completely wrong.  The defender had his hand under the end of the ball so there’s no way it was grounded.  If that had been denied against us I’d be pissed off we didn’t score but entirely happy with the decision.

  5. Just finished watching the game from pause.  Cheered so much when France went over at the end the dog won’t come back into the room.

Pearce did his best to hand that game to Wales by not carding them and awarding dubious tries.  Thank f**k he didn’t get away with it.

Never have a team deserved a grand slam less.

  6. Sickener that Farrell and half the England team will be Lions starters.

I’m looking at their team today and struggling to think who I would pick from them to start over any of our lads in a combined Scotland England XV (in a fully fit Scotland squad) other than Itoje.

  7. I keep seeing that Scotland need a bonus point win in France to have any chance of finishing second.  Is the tie-breaker not points?  We’d go ahead of Ireland with a six point win in France no? (I know France may still be ahead of us depending on tonights result)

Jamie Heaslip taking issue with Lawrence Dellaligo about a Ferrell roll after an attempted tackle and saying that the rules are there for a reason!! Jamie fucking Heaslip who spent his whole career belly flopping on to and sealing off rucks and generally cheating like a fucker.

    It was Geordan Murphy co-commentating

For me we need to start racking up similar scores against this mob to Ireland and Wales. Yes they should be respected but if we continue to struggle against them we'll never have a chance of a title win. The real acid test for Townsend in my opinion is France next week. If we don't win that we've gone backwards from the past few years and that is worrying.

I think Townsend should go but expecting a win in France is being over optimistic.

    This is juvenile pish.

He probably is a bit overexposed these days and he's said some things that haven't stood up over a longer term.  However, he's eminently qualified in the realm of public health and he's capable of communicating clearly and with authority.

His approach to any emergence from lockdown can be characterised as cautious, perhaps even excessively so, which means that some of the shoutier wee lads on here get terribly shrill in questioning his credentials and motives.

It's often a bit embarrassing watching them nicking each other's names for him.

No he isn’t.  His job is in quality of clinical services.  That in no way qualifies him as an expert in public health.

Some week. A very positive FM message, great weather and I had the AZ jag earlier with no side effects (yet). Do I risk breaking the feel good factor by paying to  watch the Forfar game or just sit outside with beer and pies? *

    *Beer and pies, obv.

It took 2 days for the sore arm to kick in for me, but that's all I've had.

You sure that wasn’t because you were tearing the heid aff it after you got your jag?
