  1. Agreed. Next set is crucial and needs to be won by Wade for this to be close to being a contest. Been a walk in the park for Smith so far
  2. I finished this about two weeks ago and found it an enjoyable read, probably due to Rankin's involvement. Started reading Strange Loyalties about a week ago and really struggling to get into it. Tempted to read something else and come back to this later
  3. Brilliant match, Wright stuck in there and got the job done. Get it right up you Rydz, that will teach you to be disrespectful towards an opponent. Hopefully Price beats Smith then Wade and there's no English player in the final
  4. Rydz has been brilliant and completely deserves his lead but the camera caught him joining the Scotland get battered shite, hopefully that comes back to bite him
  5. I used to think a lot of the crowd singing was banter. Maybe I'm just old and crabbit but a lot of the crowd behaviour comes across as "England hooligan behaviour" nowadays
  6. Anderson by far the better player, 100 times better than last night. Crowd being arseholes this year, more than I remember
  7. Clayton v Smith is the game of the night without question. Two players just focusing on playing darts. Anderson v White was a poor quality match but really enjoyable. White should have won but got carried away going for tops and somehow hit double 5 (might have deflected from another of his darts). He blew it. Price v Van Duijvenbode was one sided. Price got the job done but it was either really hot on stage or Van Duijvenbode was ill given how uncomfortable he looked and the amount of water he took on, was he in the same pic as Van Gerwen and van der voort?
  8. Christmas Day was the same. Needed a mask on when walking around but could dance on the dance floor without one yet when going to the toilet and having to walk across said dance floor put the mask on as soon as you get off the dancefloor as if the dancefloor formed some kind of barrier against Covid
  9. This is something my other half does that really annoys me and tonight I've found out it seems to be a trait from her mother: Puts sharp kitchen knives in a basin of hot soapy water "to steep" meaning if you haven't caught her doing this you'll put your own hand in and risk slicing your hand. But they don't think there's anything wrong with that or see what the danger is
  10. Won't hear me disagreeing with that. I suspect its the scaremongering and words used like Tsunami, Tidal Wave, record breaking that have got some of the older generation scared to leave their houses leaving then with nothing else to do than watching news coverage all day which causes them more worries despite being triple jagged
  11. I had a conversation with my mum earlier today about the restrictions and sadly she's very much "I'd rather she overreacts than underreacts". Point blank refuses to acknowledge that Sturgeon may have got this wrong and has overreacted too early. I imagine she's in the minority with that, my partner and her family have been pro Sturgeon all during the pandemic but they are also now starting to question the figures and Scottish Govt reaction right now
  12. You sir are a pr!*k, go take yer face fur a sh!te Without being pedantic, Mental Health is two words and a well known contributor to early deaths in young men. But you knew that
  13. There is a thought that taking paracetamol before getting jabbed is supposed to reduce the side effects. Didn't work for me with my first and I had what felt like a hangover the day after, I didn't bother taking any before the second or booster and I was fine after those.
  14. Does the female deserve a life sentence? Sadly that's what she's living and she should be the main person thought of in this, not Goodwillie. Just because Clyde have signed him doesn't mean we should.
  15. What would your feelings be if it was your daughter/sister involved in the Goodwillie case? Would you be happy to have him playing for the club? There's no denying he's a good player. He's been scoring goals for Clyde in the lower leagues for a number of years yet no club in a higher division have signed him. Wonder why?
  16. Had never heard of either Borland or Brooks until tonight but give me a match like that any day before the Murnan v Lim torture. Two young lads just going for it
  17. I'm not on Facebook but I wouldn't believe a word from that. The first person who needs told that Holt is leaving is the man himself. The BoD can't say they plan to bin him until they've told him. Would you be happy your boss telling your colleagues you're being sacked before he tells you?
  18. It was Stuart Munro was it not? Ex Rangers left back who was brutal with us.
  19. The journalists comments about Stratton have nothing to do with her husband being a fellow journalist at all I'm sure
  20. I thought Houston's sacking was after a 2-0 home defeat to Livi
  21. Stop further decline? I asked if this was rock bottom after the 5-0 Partick defeat, now we've just been pumped 6-0 by Queens Park. No further decline is possible surely but we are risking that happening by keeping Sheerin in post. We can't do nothing
  22. Hippolyte was the same. It was always pulling back opposition players after giving the ball away
