I politely told someone to f**k off for using one of these group chats, which comes to our personal phones, to ask if anyone could help with a piece of work they were producing off their own back on a Saturday morning. Notifications straight off

Thankfully I had the notifications off on one Saturday night/Sunday morning when some of them decided to have a quiz. 200+ messages sitting there when I picked up my phone on the Sunday afternoon

  2. We've got an office Whats App group that was set up at the start of the pandemic to pass on urgent information and be a place where folk can ask for help with work stuff if they were struggling.

It's turned into the biggest load of pish, so much so I turned off the notifications about 6 months ago.

Is he going to the Aunts because you need someone to watch him?

If he was going  round just because she was off but now wants to play with his pals then that’s absolutely fine IMO and they really shouldn’t be getting annoyed at that.

He was going there purely to let me get a full day done wfh without interruption. Her maws more concerned about that than either me or my employer but I reckon she's starting to feel a bit redundant in the 'gran looking after him while the parents work' sense

  4. Not so much something the other half has done that annoyed me today but her maw... wee man was supposed to be going to his aunts' house tomorrow as his aunt doesn't work a Thursday but he has changed his mind and wants to stay at home to play with his pals in the street.

Her maw's not happy with that as she's thinking she won't get to see him this week and totally failing to grasp that it's better for him to play with kids his own age in the fresh air than spend a day himself with adults.

Or am I being ungrateful for the help offered?

I'm sticking with that either Miller or Mcracken are best buddies with Leitch's dad and that's why he gets regular game time. It's the only reason I can think of.

His dad is Scott Leitch, ex Motherwell player and coach. Wasn't Miller part of Motherwell's academy coaching team at one point while he was a Livi player?

You seem fixated with the “no one would take the Falkirk job line” to justify this crazy set up we have. I will say it again. When the Falkirk job becomes available there would be 50+ interested no matter how much turbulence is going on behind the scenes

Last time we advertised the managers job and received 50+ applications we gave the job to somebody who wanted the job so badly he never even applied

    Can you please stop complaining?
It’s not going to change the fact that the spread of the virus means that our division as a WHOLE cannot sustain testing.
This is probably a gesture by the SPFL to keep football running at some level before the SG took the decision later this week to stop the entire card. Something that the SPFL cannot afford to happen due to their ties with TV....

He's only complaining about the suspension as he has a minimum of 3 weeks not complaining about the quality of football, Simmons, Dowds, Mercer, transfers. He would complaining about having nothing to complain about

That’s 60 players there which Id say at least 50 of them have been failures. Genuinely some skill to get player recruitment so horribly wrong over such a period of time and under 4 different managers but even managed it.

Wow, must have taken some amount of time to come up with that lot. How did you manage to include Ciaran McKenna and forget The Edge? I can still see that collision in that Morton game that cost the 2nd goal

  9. I haven't read all the posts about todays' announcement and so far I've been supportive of Nicola Sturgeon's approach but today is the second time I've thought she's losing control.

And how long does she need to take to cut to the chase? She spouted on for at least 10 minutes saying nothing

  10. Moans the house is cold, take a walk around the house and she's got windows and all the internal doors open, is dressed in a short sleeved top and no socks..

Her ability to switch lights on is amazing, even at 11am when the sun's streaming in the windows. Her ability to switch the same lights off when finished in rooms on the other hand...

As ScotGov ignored my recommendations last Tuesday, It is time for another overall review and look at each council with  changes coming tomorrow.  We can look back in time from 7 day figures to November 13th and compare with, 7 day figures to 4th December.   Basically progress for all councils in the last documented 21 days. The data 13th November was the day before all the moves to Tier 4 etc.  So those councils now have about 14 days of data in the new higher tier 4 restrictions.

Overall cases per 100K were 141.5 in Scotland and are now 98.5. That is a decrease overall of 30.39% in a period of 21 days,  of which 14 days were in higher restrictions.

My observations would say that the restrictions do appear to be working. with hugely more progress in Tier 4 areas than previously when in Tier 3.  Also it is quite clear the populated areas in Tier 3 are struggling to reduce their numbers.

Conclusion Tier 4 worked even though the School Bashers may deny it.

I now have the last 21 days of Data for each Council.

Start with the tier 4 Councils and move down to Tier 1    My comments  Bold

Stirling Tier 4  167.7 to 80.7   Decrease   51.87%        Another with a great week. Great chance of double promotion to Tier 2

Clackmannanshire  Tier 3    99.0 to 211.5  increase  113.63 %    Although it looks bad the population is only circa 45K and cases is 109 people.  Should stay tier 3 but if anyone was getting Tier 4 it would be them. Sauchie appears to be the epicentre of bad behaviour just now.

Falkirk   Tier 3     88.3 to 66.5  Decrease 24.68%    Bad week of increases. If no Tier 2 last week then hard to see this week.

Surely if Stirling could go from Tier 4 to 2, Falkirk should also go to 2? I agree that's unlikely to happen as Falkirk could have been Tier 2 last week.

Could the Clackmannanshire figures be what keeps Falkirk and Stirling in Tier 3?
