  1. 5/10 of the Championship clubs have better facilities according to the SFA, and Dundee are struggling to keep to even the Bronze level. Rated Silver: Dundee United Dunfermline Athletic Caley Thistle Partick Thistle Rated Gold: Queen’s Park
  2. I imagine the biggest shock for Dundee players would be an away game getting postponed, otherwise I reckon they’re pretty used to it by now.
  3. Gonna need the table to verify but think this is for the good of football across the country tbh.
  4. If Dundee are removed from the league midway, and the results against them are voided, who gets the biggest boost in the battle for top 6 or avoiding relegation? Don’t think it would affect Hearts or Killie all too much, but Ross County would be sitting prettier (I think?)
  5. The rules don’t provide a minimum investment amount though. They just give the minimum standard the pitch and ground have to meet. Saying ‘but we invested a token amount’ to not meet the standard still means you haven’t met the standard.
  6. I think the rules as they apply to this are a little convoluted, but effectively; taken from the https://spfl.co.uk/admin/filemanager/images/shares/pdfs/Membership%20Criteria%20Letter%202024-25%2031%20October%202023.pdf and https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/11172/sfa-club-licensing-manual-2024.pdf or ultimately, if you let your pitch turn into a bog and get postponements and shit scores as to its upkeep over a long period, you’re liable to flirting with not failing to meet the minimum standards of entry to a professional league.
  7. Take a points deduction for failing to fulfil the fixture so opposition clubs and fans can plan accordingly, rather than playing the hokie cokie with raincovers? Or pay to hire another stadium and play I guess.
  8. Given the problems he’s caused Goldson in particular, you’d think he’d go Kyogo through the middle no? Will be interesting to see how Diomande matches up with McGregor (if he starts?) It’s not as if the AJF/KingJoey tangent is a glowing invitation for fans to post is it? The ‘media storm’ around Ally is getting tiresome as well, you’ve got people who should know better making some pretty sizeable and defamatory leaps in their accusations.
  9. Especially when a quarter of those were dastardly foreign refs.
  10. Best part is that this entire segue was the depressingly inevitable outcome of AJF rightly calling out dickheads setting off fireworks.
  11. No neutral or positive comments about Rangers fans, no commentary on the football unless it’s to criticise the referee for awarding fouls to Rangers players.
  12. They’re longer and suit my tall frame. JD Sports or death before a Mike Ashley outlet, come on.
