  1. Apart from the first 15 minutes or so, I don't think the first half performance was as bad as you made out. We had a couple of decent penalty shouts (the first one looked like a stonewaller to me) and their keeper pulled off a great save.
  2. And yet, a Killie fan with no axe to grind said on here that he heard exactly the opposite from folk who live in Hamilton. And you're a proven fantasist, so I know who I'm more likely to believe.
  3. Why should Academy players be given special treatment? None of us know the reason why Dougie and Lewis didn't see eye to eye with one another, but I'm 100% certain it had absolutely nothing to do with him being a product of the Academy.
  4. Indeed. It's sad the way it has ended with Lewis as he was a fine player for us, and I wish him well in Finland and wherever he ends up after that, but he's now part of our history.
  5. He's obviously bitter and angry about the way he perceives he's been mistreated, so I'd take everything in that article with a huge pinch of salt. He also disclosed the contents of a private conversation which is unprofessional at best, and downright despicable at worst. Lewis and Dougie quite obviously just did not get along with each other. It happens in every workplace. But your automatic assumption that Dougie's dislike of Lewis is purely down to the fact he's an academy graduate is patently absolute nonsense. And yet you tediously persist. But since you referred to Ton fans as scum to ingratiate yourself with Partick fans of all people, we can safely ignore anything and everything you say and mark you down as a solid wrong 'un..
  6. I wish we could play these gormless buffoons every week. Would be horrible to watch of course, but we'd fair rack up the points
  7. While it was good to hear Kettlewell praise us and show us proper respect (he seems loke a very likable and decent bloke by the way), it also means that he'll make sure his team don't underestimate us and think they only have to turn up. He'll have them well prepared for a tough game, I'm sure.
  8. Just on the point that the capacity has been so drastically reduced for safety reasons.... if the home allocation gets sold old and fans resort to buying tickets in the away end, that in itself could be result in a safety issue.
  9. Nah, sorry. Until a few hours ago the fact there was a reduced capacity and there was a real prospect of the home ticket allocation being sold out, was never mentioned. With the home capacity reduced to only 3.700 they should have been well aware days ago that there was a risk of it being a sell-out. The fact that only 800 had been sold by Tuesday or whatever is irrelevant - they should have known and anticipated that a large proportion of the home fans, probably even the majority, would have purchased their ticket on the day or the day before. It's pish poor, and if anyone misses the game because of this, then it will be a crying shame.
  10. Disagree. The capacity restrictions should have been announced days ago, not a few hours before KO
  11. I don't think the turnstiles in the WDE are electronic, are they?
  12. That's only half of it! He also claimed he got a trial for Den Haag at the age of 37, after impressing their boss in a Works league match.
  13. We're really not, you're overlooking the obvious that they're playing at a significantly higher level than us. We're in with a great shout for sure, but labelling us as favourites is foolhardy.
  14. Yup, fair play to him, showing some humility and respect that some Championship managers could do well to learn from
