Can't think of another right back we've had that still plays other than Tait. Marv wasnt a left back with us, but think we was with Boro. Shame moult is crocked again. I usually miss an obvious one with these things.

Is this the bit where you show us Lamie's diagram and it turns out we only like Johansen because he's foreign and good looking?
He does look to be right footed, unless one pass in a 10 minute highlight video counts as two footed. He also passes with his head.

Not happy with the club further marginalizing Lasley, but I guess we have to think of the future.

I guess you can't argue with results, but in a lot of those games where we "shut up shop", we really didn't. We had Kelly making great saves, and a fair amount of luck too. We can be the absolute best at defending set pieces and crosses (we aren't), but if you let teams fire in crosses at will and have 17 corners, the odds aren't going to be in your favour.
This has been the case since GA came in, so it is definitely a tactic. Are there other teams that do this? What is the theoretical advantage of doing this?

Thanks for typing out the goalies name, I meant to do a Google to find out what the commentators were saying. I'm guessing they used the shite BBC lineups to get amaluzors name wrong.
I don't think Fontaine was either man of the match or a collosus, but the commentary guys were OK. Your cameraman was pished though, I got seasick.

We did "successfully" defend the other 90 corners/crosses, so they were going to get one at some point. Should look good in the stats. Our xG must have took a kicking though.
If this is going to be a Gannon situation of sticking to a style of play regardless until it becomes unsustainable, I hope there's a Jennings and Humphrey in there.
It is still early and stuff, and Alexander did a good job keeping us up and some, so I'm not quite at the drinking straight out of a jack Daniel's bottle at 9am stage, but I might have a decision to make when my current stash of death wish coffee runs out.

Lawless was fine, but we looked like we were in "minutes in the legs mode again". Opponents really could just let us have as much of the ball as we want.

O'Hara has the tendency to make the Lamie pass, where he just nonchalantly rolls the ball into an area where he decided someone should be.
However, he does pop up with some handy goals, and wins headers.
