That one lies on Petrie I am afraid, in what world did he think starting Lennox was a good idea. Coupled with the fact that webby is completely out his depth at RB.

Lennox’s time is up. Struggle to remember a more error-prone keeper than him., can’t believe what was going through his head under no pressure for that second goal.

That first half was nothing short of embarrassing. First time I’ve seen a Montrose side not be organised or willing to run the hard yards. I think there was an instance when there was a counterattack and Blair was the only one in the box after all his hard work and all the other lads were scratching their arses in our own half! Maybe that’s due to the aging squad but then the buck stops with Petrie. Quite a few of the older guys are tied on for next season when it’s been clear for a while they are not league 1 level. On another note was very pleased to see the academy lads get a proper run out, particularly impressed with Luca who clearly did not shy away from a challenge and a bit of running which is what we need. Better than Watson and Gardyne that can’t be arsed.

We have a knack of getting results against Falkirk so hopefully we can stop our slide tonight. 1-0 home win.

I don’t think McAllister was a bad signing but it was pointless bringing him in if he has no bloody service! It also looks like we splurged our budget to bring him in and maybe is a reason we didn’t bring as many players as we should have. Personally a rebuild is needed and we could be looking at getting rid of 9 players. I would get rid of Lennox(one of the shittest keepers I have ever seen), Whately (Played out of position half the time but not good enough), Allan (Highland league at best, slow donkey), Milne (had high hopes but his career has gone off a cliff after his FT adventure), Callaghan (Should’ve left yonks ago), Dillon (Arguably our best player but doesn’t have the legs anymore), Masson ( Offers nothing going forward), Watson (Too old), Gardyne (Again too old). We have sleepwalked into this situation and I do hope we freshen up the squad a lot even if we do have to rely on loans.

Start Machado and Winker next game big impact from both of them especially Machado who looked really sharp. On another note fucking bomb scares at the back today.

If we didn’t get 3 points today we would have been out of the play off race. We do have a game in hand but it is against Dunfermline so it’ll be a tough ask to take anything out of that game.

How was the Mo keeper today? Hopefully he wasn’t shocking or were in a spot of bother in terms of keepers

I’m guessing a clear out is impending in the summer then as according to transfermarkt the players running out of contract this summer are: Lewis Milne, Paul Watson, Matty Allan, Mark Whatley, Craig Brown and Craig Johnston. I reckon we bin Paul, Matty and mark and possibly Craig Brown.

I think yesterday shows we were crying out for a right back, their two last goals came from us being sliced open down the left. But no bother team performances have been much better recently and I forgot how bloody good Adam was so hopefully he can kick on now.

Looks like we’re going to stick with young Ross and Aaron for the rest of the season, not overly bothered we don’t need to fish out some cash for a keeper but it has been concerning that we have not had a single new face through the door.

Yeah, definitely much improved when I saw them last. Defence was much more solid and midfield had more of a control on the game. Now need to improve in the final third and we’re set for the playoffs if we play like that week in week out.
