Falkirk v Hamilton
FalkirkBairn2021 replied to Bigbrbairn's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Have quite enjoyed this. We look well up for it and good to see a few tackles flying in. Pretty even game for me. I think Agyeman wins it for us second half. Though would be nice if Leon McCann knew he was playing. -

I'm definitely hesitant to say this but... shades of Arnau Riera for me. Which is a very good thing. -

That's a fucker of a win to keep the momentum going. Probably shaded it overall. Brad Spencer is already a shoo in for POTY I reckon if he stays injury free -

We look a bit different without Miller and Agyeman. Pretty fortunate not to be behind. -
Scotland v England 150th year anniversary match

I went to the Wembley game at Euro 96 and it was horrible going to.and from the game. I was 16 I think and with my da and it was incredibly intimidating and a poisonous atmosphere. Have no interest playing England outside of when we have to. -

I'm surprised most fan ownership models end up with donations v shares. I don't buy the argument that you can't just keep creating more- that's completely untrue. Still at least the percentage ownership point has been resolved. That's something. I don't like conceptually the idea of donation - I don't think it encourages good corporate behaviours. But that's for fans to decide with our hard earned. -

This has been my experience of going to Falkirk games for a long time too. There's a fair number of 'Buckie in the back pocket of the jeans' fannies that I've seen try and start fights. We don't want to be getting a reputation for that at away venues. Then you get retaliation and it's usually the decent fans that get caught up in it. Really difficult to nip in the bud though. -

Most annoying thing about our Premier spell is that it's really difficult to get relegated. Much much easier to stay up than win the Championship. Still infuriates me how asleep at the wheel our board were to allow us to go down. It was completely avoidable. -

One of the easiest wins we'll have all season. Ayr are rancid. Definitely going down I fancy. -

Sacked in the morning I think. Home against a 2nd string lower league team and being battered. -

Ayr are absolutely shocking. Can see why their fans are raging. We've looked really good. Solid and composed on the ball. Could be 2 or 3. -

I always thought Martin Stephenson and the Daintees were going to be big. They nearly made it to mainstream. Still a hellofa good band though. -

Weird one with Pearse Carroll. Looks to have bags of ability but we never saw much of him. Always rumours that was to do with off the field problems. I'm sure there's a story there and maybe he pitches up somewhere better soon. -

Sadly I don't think we can ever start Lawal. He's a ' last 20 minutes when you're winning handily' sub. His start earlier this season gives me the absolute fear we'll ever play him for 90 again. -

What a pleasure we are to watch just now. Absolutely purring. Could all turn to shit at any point and weve still to beat the better teams in the league , particularly Hamilton, but at the moment it's hard not to feel confident going into every game Calvin Miller will be a big loss though. Really just want to keep naming the same XI every game. Well done to the manager and the squad. -

Thing is, the club made a decision to bin the previous set up. You can tell from Falkirk TV's last post that the guys involved were not happy with that decision. Now we can be skeptical that they really were going to deliver on this promise "We'd offered the club an attractive proposal to take this service to a level that competed with old firm in terms of quality.' But why were they binned on a service that makes the club a decent amount of money for very little outlay? I don't think it was to improve the experience for the fans watching. I get that it's every company's right to increase margins on any revenue stream but if you do that by reducing the quality of that service you will rightly be questioned. It's been an inauspicious start by anyone's standards. The only way is up. -

Lived in Stirling for years and used to go to Binos games quite regularly. It's quite nice seeing them back at a decent level. It's a good community club.
