  1. I wouldn’t put it past them to cut the health budget elsewhere to fund it like with the Christmas ‘protections’ tbh. Got to keep up the virtue signalling.
  2. Teller will be in the championship at least next season unlike the vast majority of the squad
  3. Surely she can’t seriously believe it’s either sustainable or a sensible use of public money to continue to spend £2 billion on testing for what now amounts to a cold for the vast majority.
  4. I don’t think people are expecting miracles tbh. To be frank it shouldn’t take 4 years to get a Falkirk team capable of competing in league 1. We’d have been as well giving M and M or Sheerin ‘more time’ if that expectation is too ambitious.
  5. I’ve seen absolutely nothing so far to suggest he should be here next season tbh. If bringing in 7 isn’t giving him the chance to bring in his own players I don’t know what is. I hope we do improve between now and the end of the season as the new signings bed in, but I think it would be grossly premature to offer him an extension at this stage tbh.
  6. I’m not convinced he’s good enough at all tbh but he’s clearly been recruited to play at CB. Then we have Mills who is just a totally pointless signing if he can’t get in the team ahead of McKay.
  7. Problem with changing formation is Rennie has very clearly recruited with the intention of playing a 3-5-2. We have 6 centre halves but currently only one natural winger available in Mcguffie. A 4-3-3 with the 3 strikers would probably make sense but I suspect we’d get a right doing against the better teams. The biggest disappointment for me is that Rennie has brought in 3 centre halves plus a defensive midfielder and yet we still look weak as water at the back.
  8. It makes no sense for either party to have him here if he isn’t an improvement on Brad McKay (which wouldn’t be difficult). ATS doesn’t look good enough and Watson hasn’t really improved the organisation of the defence either.
  9. Have they? Kabia has been excellent but we’ve signed 3 centre halves (one of whom apparently can’t get in the team over McKay) yet our defence is still like a sieve. Jacobs hasn’t done much to solve our midfield issues and it’s early days with Griffiths but he looks miles off it to me.
  10. Just the usual rubbish from us today. Midfield poster missing, created nothing and how we still can’t defend after bringing in 3 centre halves and a def beige midfielder I don’t know. Some of Rennie’s tactical and team selection decisions are baffling as well. The 5 at the back doesn’t work, and it was crazy starting Hetherington and dropping Kabia. Griffiths doesn’t look like he’ll be contributing much anytime soon if at all either tbh.
  11. We’ve brought in 7 new players so to say there haven’t been wholesale changes is just not true. Only Kabia can go down as a definite good signing so far imo. 3 new centre halves in and we still can’t defend.
  12. Clearly he isn’t fully fit but the striker who should score for fun looked well off the pace for me
  13. Too many getting carried away after the Alloa result imo. We’re still very poor
  14. I’d be fuming if I were Kabia tbh. He’s been excellent since coming in.
  15. That phrase really is a pet hate of mine. It’s as if there’s a book just sitting on a shelf full called ‘the science’ giving exact solutions. In reality there’s no such thing as ‘the science’. Science covers a whole range of disciplines, and there is huge disagreement even within these about what the right answers are.
  16. I really don’t see what relevance care homes have here. The U.K. government are proposing to keep testing in hospitals and care homes, so no one will be testing positive and then visiting cafe homes as Yousaf claimed. Seems like just another ‘reckless tories’ angle that he has jumped on.
  17. Quite promising imo that Bauld also said “"I think you can't keep things in place indefinitely when the situation is stabilising." Sounds good for masks being binned.
  18. Personally I think it’d be crazy to shunt Kabia out wide. He’s a nightmare for defenders through the middle.
  19. I see Wales is ditching passports and masks other than in shops and public transport in a few weeks. Aiming to remove mask mandates completely in March. Could be a get out for Sturgeon to do the same hopefully.
  20. Rennie saying that Jamie Wilson will be our new cover at right back
  21. I think Griffiths might hopefully bring out the best in some of our better players. Will be good for players like Telfer, Morrison and Nesbitt to have someone else with ability and on the same wavelength.
  22. Personally I wouldn’t want Kabia stuck out wide. He’ll get bags of goals through the middle imo
