Funny timing this as I was considering putting Sky Sports back on for the games in June. I watch by streaming at the moment but it’s a pain in the hoop when there’s a delay of a minute or more. Sky’s coverage has improved in recent years, especially since they brought in Coisty, so it’s a bit shit if it gets replaced by something worse.

SDG is in charge until the end of the season, so there’s no rush.

I’m on board with Keane as manager, partly for entertainment value but mainly because I can’t think of anyone I really want for the job.

Did they only wish one of them happy birthday? Seems a bit harsh on the other one.

Everything about the club just feels shite just now. I’m not in the Maloney Out camp but I’m not convinced by him either. We need a hell of a transfer window in summer if we’re going to get anywhere next season, no doubt we’ll end up with more shite deadline day loan signings.

See, I’m sure every Hearts fan had a good old laugh on Saturday when they condemned Hibs to the bottom six. But now Hearts have 5 fixtures with nothing to play for, while we have the possibility of a last day relegation showdown against St Johnstone. Imagine the excitement. Who’s laughing now eh? Maloney’s not daft.

That was totally shit. Should have gone with my instincts and not watched it.

Unusually the wee man hasn’t asked about watching the game today, normally he’d be all over it. I may actually be able to avoid watching it altogether.

The weather is great right now, beautiful sunshine in Edinburgh.

Any of the corners are generally quiet, FF lower or the north end of the East or West. South end of the East is the singing section these days.

I’m looking forward to lunch with the wee man before the game, burger the most likely option. As for the game itself, if we get a performance like against Arbroath then I should be happy.

I’m just to the west of Edinburgh and it’s been mingin since I got up. Taking the car to the game as I can’t be bothered with getting soaked on the walk from the tram stop to the ground. Looking forward to seeing Kev in goals again.

You appear to be some sort of unlucky charm for Hearts. Can keep watching them please?

I’m looking forward to getting back to Easter Road, feels like ages since I was last there. As for the game, surely it can’t be any worse than the last time against Livi.

Can they put something in the contract so that whoever gets the rights, Coisty has to be on co-comms?

Sure, the Saudi high heid yins are c***s, but most of us would work for c***s for a million quid. Hell, I used to work for one of Richard Branson’s companies for a few quid an hour, so I’m in no place to judge.

First time in ages I’m actually wanting to go to a Hibs game and I can’t because we’ve got tickets for the fucking Botanics lights. Hopefully make it home to see the second half on TV.

I see Shaun Maloney is being reported as our first choice for new manager. I’m not horrified by that thought.

Once again I’m playing the “too late on a school night” card to avoid going. Suspect I’ll end up watching it on TV though. Meh.
