It says in the article there is a premiership team and many championship teams wanting MacDonald. I doubt he’ll come to us. Would be easily the best keeper in the league. -

Hamilton were muck second half. Didn’t see the first so can’t comment. They literally have no end product and hadn’t score in weeks until Saturday after Alloa went 3-0 up and down to 10 men. A professional performance from Airdrie should see them over the line. -

Jordan Allan ragged dolled him in the 3-3 game at NDP. Everyone on here wanted him out of there. -

Henderson was moved to CM because he was murder at CB. Hopefully he doesn’t move back there. -

Oliver and McGinn had the clause in the contracts to extend by a year activated. -

I’d keep McGinn 100% no question. Not just about on the pitch but he’s clearly a leader off the pitch which we’ve lacked in years. In the Houston days, he use to say it was invaluable having players like McCracken, Kerr, Miller, Baird etc and we’ve not had leaders like that since. McGinn brings so much more than just the footballing side. Keep him and use him sensibly next year. He was immense in the game V ICT. -

Maybe yes, but not for me. I hate Saturday’s without watching Falkirk. Great social aspect too which was the key thing last season under Sheerin and Rennie. -

I’d buy my season ticket if we were in the lowland league or beyond. You do it because you love the club, not because of who the manager is. The only way I wouldn’t be renewing any year would be due to financial reasons. The club is bigger than any manager or group of players. -

JS saying we’ve signed 3 players is the least of our worries. -

Had most of the ball, 3 chances that really should be goals and conceded when Brad McKay does a Brad McKay. I can tell you if Airdrie had the chances we had, they’d have scored the 3 of them. -

Not a chance. Donaldson is coming onto the ball to head clear and McKay, off balance, comes to win a ball he’s never going to win. -

Comfortable as you like until Brad McKay gets involved again. Never want to see him play for us again. -

Whether we keep Watson or not, we’ll still need a central defender. We cannot have a partnership made from the three that were mention above or we’ll never get out this league no matter the manager. -

PJ Yeates Donaldson Watson Mackie Max McGinn Henderson Morrison Burrell Kennedy We need Henderson’s height for when he runs into the box. -

Maybe we should be signing all the good players at league 1 level to finally get us out of it? I mean, signing players from the leagues above hasn’t exactly worked so far. Great to have some pace and power for next season. -

Henderson literally played in midfield for Arbroath last season. There was nothing lucky about it. You’ve failed to mention Max, McGinn, Kennedy. Are they all shite too? By all accounts, Meekison is a very good player too he managed to get. -

I hope those still going on Saturday can get behind them early doors. Being negative ain’t going to help anyone. It’s the only way we’ll have any chance of pulling off a miracle. -

Not really getting involved with the whole politics side of things, but I agree with the points made about the current and previous managers. -

I’m very much in the camp of not getting rid of him, although I wouldn’t be gutted if he went. Every single person on this forum agreed that his signings, bar probably Wright improved us. You could now add Kinnear into that bracket. He said last summer we need more street wise players with a bit of dig and steel. He’s signed Nesbitt again, however he clearly rates him (as does his peers going by the team of the season). He knows where we need to Strengthen and I think he’ll do that again in the summer. I hope to see a fair few leave in the summer ie loan players bar Kennedy, McKay, McGuffie, Hetherington etc. Tuesday was a disgrace and I fully admit he should have changed shape when we went 3-0 down, however at least half of the goals came from players individual mistakes that no manager can compensate from. Give him until October/November and see where we are, because at worst case scenario , I don’t think we’d be far off play offs by then anyway. -

Saturday is all about professional pride and fight. Are we going to just lie down and accept it as it is? Or are we going to go out and see what happens. That’s the most important thing for me now. -

Burrell is a fucking shitebag. Look at the way he moves out the wall for the second goal. He gets way to much praise because he has pace. McGlynn said when he was appointed that we were soft as shite. No wonder he wanted Benedictus as his first signing. Players need to take a huge chunk of responsibility as well for last night. 6 shots, 6 goals for Airdrie. 3 were from a free kick, corner and penalty. School boy stuff which had nothing to do with the formation. Leon McCann didn’t win a single header against McGill all night. Should have stuck to the 4-3-3 which we started the second half with. -

I said at the time when he left we’d miss him but Alegria was very understated. He was quick, powerful and could hold the ball up. Was it 8 goals or so he had before he left? A big miss for us.
