As long as you guys don’t sign anyone before Tuesday evening . In all seriousness how are you guys set up for Tuesday? A lot of injuries? Confident of getting something or fearing the worst?

Entirely down to poor leadership of the club who hire people who clearly aren’t good enough (Paul Sheerin, Martin Rennie both who we said were ‘refreshing’ similarly to what some of your supporters said about Bartley). We finally appointed someone with experience and know how rather than someone who may or may not work out. Seems like your board and now doing the same. First Willie Gibson and then Marvin Bartley.

Don’t think it’s fair on Nicky tbf. Yes he’s had his moments but so has long (Partick away, DU home etc). Both are good keepers but Nicky had the gloves. I prefer Nicky’s height if I’m honest too. Not a great approach to be changing keepers frequently either.

Just checking our results from the 3rd quarter last year and didn’t realise we had won 8 from 9 games with our only loss coming against Dunfermline. Something similar this quarter and we’ll be well on our way.

It was Callum Erskine who coaches in the academy. I believe, Alex our normal GK coach was ill.

Don’t want to sound patronising either but I also echo the comments by fellow Bairns, Queens fans deserve so much better especially considering the distance you have to travel for away games. That is one of the most negative performances I’ve seen from a team at TFS. You even had a full half to come back at us and never really did. I heard a Falkirk fan on Clyde SSB hammering Bartley for his tactics, and thankfully we don’t need to watch that every week.

Much better second half. That’s the best I’ve seen Nesbitt in a Falkirk top, simply immense. Defensively we were excellent too, just a shame we didn’t get the second or third goal we deserved. Miller unplayable too again. Win on Tuesday and it’s an 11 point gap with Cove going to Hamilton on Saturday and us playing Edinburgh.

Morrison having an awful game. Maybe we could learn after 3 games that crossing it constantly won’t work? Just food for thought.

The main thing today is 3 points. Every game against QOS under Bartley hasn’t been pretty. Hopefully we do whatever it takes to get the points and put pressure on Hamilton.

That would be like swapping Susan Boyle for Rihanna.

We can never seem to break down Marvin’s low block. Queens are happy to sit back and let us put crosses in the box as they know Efe should deal with most of them. Quick tempo is required as is the possibility that we may need to go through the middle rather than out wide more on Saturday.

Always thought Williamson was a good player however having seen him against us for Partick earlier in the season, he was anonymous that day. Still a decent player when he turns up.

Based on league games alone, we’ve lost only 3 in 2023 - Dunfermline, QOTS and Edinburgh City. That’s 3 loses in 36 games. Quite unbelievable. Happy New Year to all Bairns Lets hope that 2024 is the year!

Compared to this stage last season, we’re 16 points better off with a goal difference of +33 compared to +14. Credit to every single person. On Agyeman, I don’t blame him today. He went past his man nearly every time but then it broke down. That’s simply down to a lack of game time IMO. He was tearing it up when he played consistently.

Outstanding professionalism again from the team, coupled with some excellent passages of play and goals. Keep it up in the second half this time please

It was clearly an excuse to get the Cove game off with the form they were in IMO.

I can’t see this game going on. You’d have to imagine the pitch would be frozen underneath this snow too and it can’t be cleared. My guess is that there will be a pitch inspection at 1.30 and called off.

Really, really good performance in awful conditions. Should really have been a 6 or 7 but really good team display. With the position we’re in we now just need to focus on ourselves and no one else.

Let hope and pray we don’t have any serious injuries because that’s all it takes for a drop in quality in the 11. Hamilton will know all about that with arguably their 3 best players all getting injured today. You could tell Longridge is a full back and not centre back as MacIver just bullied him all day. Think he would have had a lot tougher a game against Kilday. Stunning performance that had everything- quality, desire, grit, determination. Superb!

Be aware as well for anyone who has purchased an U18’s ticket the girls in the shop said they expect Hamilton to be checking ID’s. Doing everything they can to delay us getting in it seems.

Didn’t make the game as I’m away for the weekend but managed to watch on tv. I can’t echo the comments more about the referee. It was a penalty on MacIver and yet he gets booked. The bookings were an absolute embarrassment and if the referee really believes these were yellow cards he needs to be put out his misery and asked to get another part time job instead. My biggest criticism today was not taking our chances. That should easily have been another 4-1 or so. They had one chance and scored. Pleasing to get the win when Hamilton drew but they usually perform well the week after they drop points so we need to be careful. Beat them and Cove in January and it’s ours to throw away.

I mean it does look like we haven’t even tried if that was the pitch at 10am.

Think it might suit us more if it’s called off IMO. With their recent form at the moment and then having to travel down on a Tuesday night should suit us. Would rather it went ahead mind you but don’t see it.
