Another pre-match belter from McPake…
Honestly, he probably talks more pish than Peter Grant did but the better results means his every word isn’t scrutinised as much.
Can’t believe any but the very thickest of fans would expect loads of signings in January tbf.
A defender on a free or loan and maybe a young striker at a push.
Guy doing the updates for the Beeb doesn’t have a clue.
Confidently states that Aris will now finish bottom of the group when in fact a two-goal win over Sparta Prague would see them finish 3rd.
You can tell how much effort goes into the social media by the fact so many of the posts go out on the hour so have clearly been scheduled hours or even days in advance.
Football clubs need to be proactive if they want to make the most of their online channels. Even if it’s just to increase brand awareness etc rather than a call to action with ticket sales/hospitality, pushing merch etc.
Not even something that needs a lot of money or manpower behind it; I’m sure there would be marketing students at the College who could do something towards their final qualifications.
Find it strange that the output from the club has stalled or gone slightly backwards since we hired a Marketing guy tbh.
I feel the club tries to present itself as being on a certain level yet so much of our operation feels small time.
Perhaps there has just been more of a focus on generating income from local businesses etc which I guess I wouldn’t have a major issue with tbh.
The idea of investing a great deal of time and money on a new training facility while at the same time relying almost entirely on volunteers to run the club feels like a disconnect.
As much as the Board’s detractors are hilarious, I also wouldn’t be throwing them a parade because some digging has taken place massively behind schedule.
What better way to start December?
A much needed win for Dunfermline tonight brought us into the Top 4 and we need to follow that up with another three points here against a struggling Queen’s Park.
However, even more injuries means we will be back down to the bare bones. Our best - and only? - senior centre backs will all be out with injury so the visitors may struggle to find a better opportunity to get their first win since August.
