Whilst that’s a fair point, there has to be a degree of flexibility and acceptance that the system, which he doesn’t prefer, won’t always work. The squad he’s ‘built’ doesn’t allow for that, which is incredibly short-sighted management.
Watched highlights of a couple of games under Tommy Wright yesterday and was amazed to see two actual wingers on the park driving at defenders. It was fulfilling. Kennedy in particular was a joy to watch
Maybe a bit of recency bias involved, but think that’s where he’s played in the games he’s stood out. Really wasn’t impressed with Rooney first half yesterday, as much as I adore him. Thought Sang was decent yesterday and actually gave us an out ball on the right hand side. Quality on the crosses left a bit to be desired but think he deserves a run in the team
Also, not quite sure how Rooney and Rudden managed to get away without picking up a card. Fairly certain Rooney swung for Adam in the first half, and Rudden had his kick-out in the second
Massive advocate for parting ways with this management in the summer. Unlikely to happen but a man can dream…
Slowly beginning to feel centre half is Rooney’s best position - looked lost and uninterested in the first half, but was a different player in the second.
Not 100% sure if we’d be the ones to handle away ticket sales. Imagine your SLO would probably be able to help. Fairly certain e-tickets are on sale right up until kick-off though
