  1. Extremely surprised and extremely buzzing. Assumed no getting him in Jan was a sign that Doolan had moved on from him and prepared myself for watching him play for Raith again. Class to have him back, we missed him more than Tiff last season, lack of creativity through the middle and no natural 10 was a problem for the whole of the season. Brilliant business because we know we're getting a top calibre player at this level
  2. Not a fan but happy to allow O'Neils a mulligan because they've been great. Nice having expectations for kits now rather than Joma templates.
  3. Hogsons just about passable as a back-up. You'd probably want to aspire for a bit more even for a second string player. Versatile aye but won't exceed a 6/10. When Connor Mcavoy came in for the brief spell he was fit they were night and day apart. No the same players but both can play wherever along the back line. Would do anything to get him back, but there's better out there than Hodson at this level.
  4. Of the 3 rumored Robinson was the one I wanted least. Had a mare with injuries and don't see how he fits in the team, isn't a pure centre forward and I don't fancy him as a 10 for us, far too different from Turner and Tiff. Worried we lose the creativity of a 10, if we add a physical support striker in there. I don't think he suits our style of play but I guess Doolans only been in for months so that can change. He was good at livi aye but that was a while back. Fingers crossed. Mcinroy would be a great signing and Wasiri is exciting
  5. Queens were a million times better than us, played through beautifully and created some amount of chances but when you have a clown like Ali Roy upfront that's what happens. I thought they were tidy at the start of the season so the fact they are rock bottom much show how useless they are at converting, would love to see their XG. However I humbly take the 3 points, Sneddon stopped alot, distribution still woeful. Bannigan won a bunch. We still havent found the perfect formation after Rudden, crying out for another winger as it's not fair shoving Smith out there and expecting miracles. Want to see more of Turner in the middle. McKenna not upto to much as per but hes never a full back and thats not his problem. We tak and move on
  6. Thought we were extremely lucky to win that but it came down to finishing. Honestly really liked the look of queens, throught they looked sharp and round alot of overlaps and some really nice movement from them. Would say they were the better team so it's a bit of a grab from us. Wullie Gibson had a great game, his goal was a cracker and Sneddon should he stopping that. Hes also a very nice man for checking on big brian when he fell backwards into an ad board. Think Doc was lucky not to get sent off when he absolutely clattered that boy at the flag, absolutely nasty challenge. If the ref was nearby he would of been in some serious doo doo. Sneddon looked ropey as per but were lucky that calamity didnt cost us a goal, hopefully once Stone gets a look in we can move on from Sneddon. Standouts for me were Holt who was absolutely solid, Rudden for doing alot of work on the first two goals and of course BBG.
