  1. You would really, really have to hope so! I'm just living in fear that because we've never heard anything about his situation that he'll still be at Palmerston next season. Surely not!! But if so, I won't be, unfortunately.
  2. Our manager is more desperate, in every way, than your manager, unfortunately.
  3. You're now closer to the promotion play-offs than the trapdoor. Congratulations.
  4. Congratulations on raising a smile. Mentioning the king of sewerage on a thread filled with pish and shite is most apt!
  5. He probably meant from League 2 next season! It's difficult to put into words how useless Bartley has been.
  6. He's the kind of colleague that everyone is really wary of because you know that he'd throw you under a bus to save himself. Nothing is ever his fault. However, no matter how much he is convinced of his own ability, the rest of us know that he is just a complete incompetent. He has sucked out all of my enthusiasm, which I wouldn't have thought possible!
  7. Thanks for putting up the link. A shame the commentator didn't have the Queens team sheet!
  8. No Reilly today again. Someone must have let the cat out of the bag that Spurs is his favourite English team.
  9. Never expected anything different - still very annoying, I agree.
  10. I'm sitting here cheering on Brentford for all I'm worth Edited to make it clear that I'm not laughing.
  11. We're just lucky that Edinburgh are only playing a youth team for half the season.
  12. Make it an even bigger crowd, take along some friends and introduce them to the delights of Bartley-ball™, a new level of 'entertainment'. I hope they're good, and forgiving, friends!
  13. A fair but damning summary, unfortunately.
  14. Agreed. I wonder whose fault it will be this evening's interview?
  15. Another one who talks the talk. I wonder where he'll rock up next?
  16. Maybe it's not the right attitude but I can understand why that might be the case. The two major points for me, if I was one of his players, is that he doesn't support you (it's always the fault of the players for not adhering to the plan) and that the plan/tactics/strategy is so negative that it doesn't inspire any real positive attitude. As a consequence, his negativity has made its way into the stands and into this online board. Tragically, there will soon be more fans on this thread than in the stands at Palmerston!
  17. I don't think he's naive Unfortunately, the other two traits mentioned may be strong enough to assuage any guilt he would have about forcing out the player with the most potential we've had in a very long time.
  18. Typical Queens this season. Any self-respecting, full-time professional footballer playing with pride and proper application should be able to break more than one finger. (Excuse my sense of humour but the way things are this season (and the last few), if I don't laugh then I'll be greeting.)
  19. So we need a win next week and Bartley to say something unpalatable to a shop assistant to be in the same situation as last season.
  20. Yes, he was one of the few trying (and succeeding) to make some passes in midfield. He was linking up well with MacIntyre, another who gets a a few negative comments but who has played well in a few games that I've seen him play.
  21. Not quite on goal, rather a Connelly free kick two feet over the bar. Still, progress?
  22. Takes Gibson off for going against the game plan and winning an attacking free kick just outside the Falkirk box.
