  1. Well, what do we all expect from hopefully the last home game of the season? Weather’s forecast to be pleasant, will we have a carnival atmosphere with a decent crowd, and we applaud the team off at the end as they do their lap of honour and bid farewell to the home supporters! More likely they get booed off by a measly home support after we’ve witnessed them trying to carry out Bartley’s master game plan and failing miserably. We can but hope he picked up some tips midweek. Is it too much to ask for a plain and simple 4-4-2 formation with some attacking intent?
  2. More of a reason to get shot of Bartley, we can't give him an even bigger budget to squander!
  3. Yeah but Bartley need new players who would follow his instructions and game plan as the existing ones wouldn't. Hence all the youngsters he can bully! Strange it's the experienced guys (3 come to mind) that he's all publicly fell out with who've pulled him through the last few weeks.
  4. Feel we're shooting ourselves in the foot here with keeping Bartley in post. We're at the time of the season where clubs are quietly talking to players and getting squads sorted for next season, who's going to sign for this clown? It's common knowledge lots of punters won't be renewing season tickets or coming to watch while Bartley's in post which should be a real concern. There's talk of it costing circ £50k to get rid, surely that would be the best money spent for a while. I'm sure there would be an increase in support and a buzz about the place next weekend if he was gone. The club is in a downward spiral and we need to address this asap.
  5. Could be in a loan players contract that if he's fit he plays.
  6. I'm with you on that with more than a few poor performances. Bartley's probably happy that they carried out his game play. That could get football banned and it narks me to say I thought Lloyd had a decent game.
  7. Not the best of home support, last time you had more in the home stand and some behind the goal. Bit like us I suppose.
  8. With Lloyd Wilson as ref!!! We'll be lucky to keep 11 on the park.
  9. Here's hoping, but obviously you've not heard about Bartley!
  10. Cracking day for it, at least the game won't be spoiled by the wind like the last time. Also the novelty of playing on grass.
  11. What will Marvelous Marv do this week in the way of personnel and formation? I’d probably bring McClelland in for Kilsby, who I kind of feel sorry for, as he seems to have regressed under our wonderous leader’s guidance. And surely Gibson must start ahead of McKechnie. The rest I’d probably leave. Connelly, if he’s behaved himself this week can start on the bench for me, but this might not suit his petulant moods! I do think we could just sneak this but not if it turns into a battle.
