  1. Couldn’t imagine seeing a team from Baillieston destroy Talbot man, wish they were still going nowadays, awk well if they ever were to return James Lindsay Park in Baillieston is basically just massive wasteground. Building a junior fitbaw ground there with some facilities that the community could use would be an amazing investment. Thought I’d edit in a link to a picture of James Lindsay Park… on the topic of Talbot was great to see your lot on the tele on Saturday, Beechwood Park is one of the grounds I really want to go to (that I haven’t been yet!). Hopefully Candy get into the Premier Division for next season and we can get an away day there (even if Talbot would probably send In double figures lol). Atmosphere at Beechwood Park looks class
  2. Nah I’ve not got membership but was thinking of getting one. Is it worth it for the money you pay? Seen theres 32k members now so might need to get a membership if I want to keep going to the games, its fucking expensive though man
  3. I’m fairly new to going to Scotland games. What are the odds I get a ticket for this? I’ve been to pretty much every home game since Cyprus, will my loyalty points help at all in getting tickets? Managed to get a ticket for the playoff with Israel but obviously that never happened with fans anyways going to all the nations league home games anyways and also ireland away (but in the home end probably, unless by some miracle i get an away ticket)
  4. I know f**k all about Baillieston Juniors, but I’ve grew up around the area and so did most of my family. Always thought it would be great for Baillieston to have a junior side again as there isn’t really anything at all that brings the community together as a whole. Even if I wouldn’t be able to go to many games, as I have a Celtic season ticket, regularly attend St Rochs games and also go to every Scotland home game. All I really know about the team is that Andy Walker once played for them and signed for Motherwell off the back of the 1984 Junior Cup and Tommy Sheridan also one played for them. And of course they won the Junior Cup in 1980. what were the crowds like for baillieston? What made the demise come about? If a junior team was formed off the back of the current amateur side, do you think it could be a success?
  5. As the property boss said… forget yer El Clasico, forget yer Auld Firm… Larkhall vs St Rochs is the proper derby. Next week 1.30 pm at Gasworks Park. Clashing with Celtic v Dundee United which is an absolutely b*****d but then theres a run of Sunday games which means I get to go more Candy games in the weeks after. just out of interest, any larkhall fans on here able to tell me what their attendances have been like? Didn’t see any away fans at all in the return fixture (if there was some you couldn’t exactly tell them apart from the candy fans, sometimes candy fans stand at the other side of JMP next to the away dugout too) and was left quite confused but I’m guessing it was due to the game being midweek. hope the property boss makes a ton of his tiktoks about this game again. Last one was a cracker. 3-2 win for the candy in one of the best games I’ve been to this season. Hopefully more of the same to fuel the title charge
  6. Whats the attendance like for Rangers Women home games?
  7. This Rasenball Sport Leipzig - Wolfsburg game has been absolutely fucking brutal
  8. So brutal that this season of all seasons is the one where 2. Bundesliga isn’t being shown anywhere here
  9. They were on the pitch for Dalry’s first goal and St Roch’s 4th goal, not when this picture was took though haha. This was just before the older boys next to them whipped the blue pyro out and started singing Dalry FC the team for me
  10. Dalry Thistle 1-4 St Rochs (Kilmarnock Pie West of Scotland League Cup) St Rochs started the game poorly and it was a pretty scrappy game. Poor back pass from the Candy defender allowed the Dalry attacker to capitalise and take it round Starky in the goal to open the scoring. St Rochs only really turned up with five mins left off the first half, missing sitter after sitter until Jamie Longworth opened the scoring. St Rochs totally dominated the second half and should’ve won by more. Dalry looked like a pretty poor team and only their number three impressed. Their number three was absolutely outstanding though and clearly a cut above anyone else in their team. Three goals seen St Rochs cruise to victory as Dalry lost their heads in the second half, mainly down to the frustration of not being able to lay a glove on St Rochs. Two red cards for Dalry. Decent atmosphere. Dalry had a young ‘ultra’ group banging bins and singing songs, then had some older lads next to them with the pyro. Some pyro from the Candy fans too. Would say att. was somewhere in the 250-300 region.
  11. Hadn’t seen Dalry’s league position before but I can’t say I am surprised, they are really quite poor. St Rochs battered them today. Was talking to a boy in the toilets and he said its a rebuild job at Dalry, mostly young boys playing. Their number 3 was amazing though. on the flip side, seen Cambuslang Rangers once this season and they look fucking brilliant.
  12. Anyone know who Dalry Thistle’s number three is? Dalry looked like a pretty poor team but the number three was a step above
  13. Dalry 1-4 St Rochs. 2 reds for Dalry. Pyro from both sets of fans Dalry scored around 10 min mark. Poor pass back from the Candy defender allowed Dalry’s forward to take it round Starky. Candy were pish until about five minutes before extra time were they had chance after chance and got the opening goal. Totally dominated the second half and the gulf in quality was shown. 3 goals in the second half to win the game for the Candy, with Dalry totally losing the head and getting two men sent off. Kieran Daw, Barry Russell, Connor Hughes and Jamie Longworth all great. Dalry’s number three was quite clearly their best player. Boy dealt with absolutely everything, great centre half and I hope Andy Cameron had a word in his ear at full time and told him to get himself to the Candy! Pyro from both sets of fans. Dalry had a group of about 20 wee guys singing the whole game using the bins as drums. Merksworth is a nice wee ground, good pie. Good win all round
  14. Nice to see the Candy finally back in action on Thursday. Decent crowd considering it was a friendly and only knew about the game on the day. Somewhere between 100-200. Hope a friendly is sorted for Saturday.
  15. Do you think I’ll be able to get to a few games then? Will PATG still be an option?
  16. How likely are Rovers to get 500 fans during current restrictions? Celtic obviously can’t have fans at the moment and my ‘non-league’ team is on their winter break so looking to get my football fix! Would rather go watch another local side than sit in the house and watch fitbaw on the tele.
  17. Berg looks set to join Lens and obviously Bjørkan is already away to Hertha. I think someone like Solbakken could definitely end up joining a club like this too. Knutsen looks set to sign a new deal and he dealt with the departures the likes of Junker and Hauge well, but it does make me a lot more confident that we’ll be facing Bodø after a long break and losing some of their key players. Got to remember we will also considerably strengthen in January too with Maeda, Hatate and Ideguchi looking likely, and others on the way Think it’ll be a really high-scoring game but we’ll win in the end
  18. Anyone know what’s happened to Young Boys this season? Basel seen a bit of a resurgence too.
  19. Its fucking brutal to watch man. The only game with a decent crowd since the weekend just there that I watched in Germany was Köln-Augsburg, but it still managed to be up there with one of the worst games I’ve seen this season
  20. Not been able to watch 2. Bundesliga much this year due to BT losing the rights. Where do you think Hannover will finish this season? Kind of in-between promotion race and relegation battle at the moment, but with how inconsistent the top teams are it wouldn’t take much to get into the promotion race. i think you’ll lose on the weekend to Werder though. They’ve already seen big improvements under Ole Werner, very good appointment imo
  21. Hütter will be the next coach to get the sack at this rate, unless Fürth chuck Leitl which I highly doubt since it’s an achievement for Fürth to be in Bundesliga anyways. I had the Dortmund-Fürth game on the background of County-Celtic and tbh Fürth didn’t do too badly, other than a Haaland pen they pretty much contained Dortmund right until the last minute. Florian Kohfeldt is in a tough situation with Wolfsburg too. Wolfsburg took a chance on him after leaving Werder Bremen in a shambles, and they’ve well and truly fucked it. Seven games without a win and they play Bayern next before the break. Could see themselves in a relegation scrap. The football Wolfsburg are playing is atrocious. Nearly sent me to sleep against Stuttgart and couldn’t handle with Köln’s attack at all this midweek, if Modeste didn’t miss two sitters it’d have been 5-2
  22. We will really struggle if we’ve got the same front three as tonight to be honest, but then again Hibs were absolutely shite on Tuesday so confident of a win. just counting down the days until the game and praying restrictions aren’t coming before sunday man
