Not that it matters now but Valle was trying to back into Alfie so I reckon that's why the ref saw it as a fair tussle and ignored it. The Celtic RB would have been better closing down McIver but he didn't and we were all ecstatic

It's misguided to say that Falkirk FC should just fund the women's team whilst still running a ~400K loss. Those costs haven't gone away and assuming that the commercial team can just drum up sales in addition to the funding of the men's team is for the birds. They've already outperformed for a number of seasons and yet we're still not financially sound but diverting whatever it costs is still a cost to bear that the club can I'll afford. I understand this isn't just about kit but transport etc but where is the line drawn? Should FFC provide buses for the foundation youngsters instead of parents ferrying them to games as they are representing the club after all

Would we even be having this discussion about the operation of the Foundation, if the planning permission being sought was for elsewhere and not the stadium?

Not wishing to piss on most posters chips but it seems to be conveniently forgotten that we were struggling to fund the mens first team and academy not that long ago. Now it seems we're flush with funds to support another team within the Falkirk FC setup by crowdfunding it alongside the FSS, which still does not have the majority of the fan base as members. The pie can only be cut so many ways and you can only go to the well so many times before it runs dry! I'm all for the womens team and there has to be a solution found but simply saying that it should transfer to the remit of the football club is misguided IMO.

Hopefully M&S appreciate that the grass isn't always greener on the other side - However, I won't be surprised IF this rumour picks up pace after Sunday's game . Take the point about McCall but I'm old enough to remember him committing to us and then being off!

Of all our players, Mackie and Adams are going to have the toughest shifts next week. Celtic really look to use the width they have and use the front-post/penalty spot cut-backs to score. We've got to ensure the back four don't get ragged and defend the box in numbers. Everyone will have to be at-it from the off for us. Really looking forward to the game.

Having watched the highlights, Hendo has badly timed a shoulder barge and the height mismatch has did for him. No complaints really. Nicky also very unlucky not to get a hand to one or two of Stenny's penalties in the shoot-out. Onto next week!
