Celtic v Rangers Scottish Cup Semi Final
AB1872 replied to Henrik's tongue's topic in Domestic Cup Football
Could go round round in circles. All day. A lot of bullshit bravado on FF after this draw. IF we get through on Thursday this is the worst draw we could have got! -
Celtic v Rangers Scottish Cup Semi Final

Not every club. We played a home game on Boxing Day in front of 500 fans. Thank God for that as I was a little delicate. I just about managed to watch on TV before going back to bed and remember very little of the game -

Celtic benefited , rightly or wrongly, in having the fixtures changed. -

I read that as Kamara. I did have my booster earlier Anyway we looked to be still going strong last Thursday. IF Rangers get the job done next Thursday then it should benefit Celtic domestically. The April schedule is just ridiculous and it could include 3 Old Firm games! -

Celtic v Rangers Scottish Cup Semi Final

I think I said something similar in original post. The fixtures should have been played as originally scheduled. Absolutely no point in the delay as we had previously played a full season BCD. Rangers were disadvantaged but we will overcome and righteous will prevail Good always triumphs over evil -

You can’t seriously be using the Sporting game to back your argument? City scored 5 (five) in Lisbon West Ham in the LC was a team with a number of changes although still should have been enough and City do have a great recent record in that tournament -

Oh I will. What I didn’t see never happened! You can’t seriously be claiming the rearrangement didn’t suit you! Ffs you had players playing that joined AFTER the game was supposed to be played Anyway I’m away for the weekend the week before this game. It’s looking very much like two weekends away in a row. Lake District should be nice that time of year -

Aye. Until you shite it again and try and rearrange the fixture list until it suits you! Hate these games and not looking forward to the utter nonsense before , during and after. -
English Premier League 2021/22 Season
AB1872 replied to Bishop Briggs's topic in Misc Other Fitba Chat
Last night I believe City broke the record for shots on goal without scoring. Nights like that happen. Haaland played against City and didn’t cover himself in glory over the two games. Not sure he fits the way City play. I’m not doubting his prowess as a goal scorer but for me the perfect fit is Kane. He is much more than just a goal scorer. The money spent on Grealish (who will come good I’m sure) would probably have been better spent on the England captain! That all said City do score a helluva lot and it’s no bad thing not to be over reliant on one forward -

No idea how Rodri stayed on the full 95 minutes. As poor as I’ve seen him. Obviously Pep has his reasons but from the outside looking in Sterling for Grealish and Gundagon for Rodri were the obvious changes around the 65 minute mark That said they did create enough chances to win comfortably -

Sorry but as much as I like Arteta there is a huge gulf between Arsenal and City. Absolutely massive! Not only is the City starting XI (if there is such a thing) miles ahead in terms of squads there is a huge gulf. It will take years for an Arsenal, United, Spurs to close that gap. Obviously in a one off game they always have a chance but over a season City and Liverpool will prevail -
Rangers' Wee Spot in Europe - Season 2023/24
AB1872 replied to The_Kincardine's topic in Scots in Europe
Rangers have massively punched above their weight in the past couple of seasons. We never got the credit we deserved for Topping a group with Benfica in it. Just one example of our success in recent Europa League campaigns Losing to Malmö was a massive disappointment at the time and the financial blow of that meant we were unable to really improve the starting XI for this season. IF we qualify for next season’s UCL group stages then I don’t think a third placed finish is beyond Rangers regardless of who’s in the group. Obviously you’d hope one of the other clubs could do something in Europa League / conference League -
Motherwell vs Hibernian - Scottish Cup Quarter Final

I was more surprised at the Motherwell supporters reaction. Watching Sportscene and there are a few in the crowd applauding/ cheering that ridiculous challenge! -
VAR in Scottish Football
AB1872 replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
During the vital Leeds v Norwich game referee gives penalty and TBF most watching in real time thought it was the correct decision. VAR is used to prove the Norwich player had stood on the Leeds defenders leg and referee correctly overturns his decision and Leeds rightly get the crucial 3 points I agree the Newcastle decision is ridiculous as was the decision not to award Everton a penalty against City the other week. Obviously you’ll still get some inexplicable f**k ups but it is beyond debate that VAR benefits referees -
Valuables in Dundee?? Who you kidding
-
You are greeting about a referee awarding an absolute stick on penalty against your team. Try moaning at your clumsy defenders! Your one chance was offside ffs but you must have missed that Mullen already booked for being fucking stupid should have got second yellow for elbow on Helander. The big swede did him a huge favour by not making more of it! f**k being dignified towards utter diddies like yourself who is so blinded by hatred. Your team employed that scummy b*****d McPake , took on that scummy b*****ds Griffiths, employed that scummy b*****d Drysdale, still have that scummy wee nothing McGowan. We ll be rid of you scummy nothings soon enough Is that dignified enough for you?

VAR in Scottish Football
AB1872 replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Season ticket holder since 1981/82 Ive been to every ground in Scotland except for the new additions to the leagues. It’s obvious why Didfies don’t want it. But But But But Rangers get all the decisions so they do! SFA corrupt to the core!! -

VAR in Scottish Football
AB1872 replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Decisions will still go against you. Kent goal against Dortmund an example. Everton handball v City another but for everyone of them there will be many more that are missed but given after VAR. McGregor at Pittodrie being one that springs to mind. Kosovo have it. It’s madness we don’t have it here
