  1. I’ve not heard any other details, but I assume the B teams would need to spend another season in the LL next season.?
  2. The worst thing about it is that the SFA seem to be able to steamroller this through without opposition. The disdain which the governing bodies have towards the lower leagues has now reached peak levels.
  3. EK were 100% second best on the day and don’t deserve to go through, but if that’s the rules then they aren’t going to knock it back.
  4. Another question is, is there 6 B teams who be interested and have the finance for it?
  5. Will this require any sort of vote from organisations?
  6. So basically the SPFL have pulled the drawbridge up. Another organisation full of self preservation and small minded clubs.
  7. Be interesting to see what sh1t he comes out with to get them in next season.
  8. Very good point!! I still can’t see how the SPFL div 2 clubs would buy into this.
  9. Wow!!! Have to say that I am shocked with that, I thought that was the point of the review. However, welcome news. Edit - Just read your other reply, makes sense now.
  10. All of which will include the need to have B teams in LL next season, I would imagine.
  11. Any news on Saturday’s cup tie re the possibility of Talbot fielding an ineligible player??
  12. Won’t be any update until tomorrow I would imagine.
  13. I bow to your superior knowledge, it wasn’t my understanding of the rules though, I thought it was 5 for the season, and that the wiping of the rules only related to squad changes.
  14. Yet another piss take from the B teams, Leon King playing against Cumbernauld after having played 11 times for 1st team.
  15. Was at the game today, couldn’t argue. No problem though, EK will just produce more thousands to spend on SPFL players who don’t fit into their team. The spending and transfer strategy at K-Park is absolutely clueless.
  16. Most likely, which can be added to the litany of s*it he has came out with in recent times.
  17. We will probably know more when “Maxi” Maxwell’s plans come out in Julember.
  18. It does, but I suspect that they do not want to issue any further voting rights to the lower leagues. In short they don’t want the tail wagging the dog.
  19. The SFA have suspended new applications for now, not sure how long that will last.
  20. If teams don’t get promoted into the LL then how is it going to change. You say it wouldn’t be catastrophic for any of the chasing teams to be promoted, so when would it be acceptable to be promoted?
  21. I think they may still do it, although they need to pull themselves out of the rut they are currently in. Beith won’t have it easy at Glenafton next week.
