Damned if they do, damned if they don’t really. They ground-share and they are seen as joke, get their own ground, spend money at it and are still a joke, they can’t win. with regards to community, they have been trying to engage with the local towns through schools in North Lanarkshire etc. But down with that sort of forward thinking.

I’m not sure your second sentence makes any sense. Anyway, Braves at least are trying to put down roots in the community and have made a lot of effort to engage with local schools etc. it’s not their fault if the fans aren’t coming to the games, but at least they are trying.

There will be no vote, they can put it in without the need for it. What clubs can do is refuse to take part in it, however they could be swayed by the £40k on offer.

Not quite true, the tier 6 leagues could oppose, but they only need the tier 5 leagues to agree for it to work.
