We will be fine this year in terms of avoiding the relegation scrap (i hope) but a major flaw we have is pace. We have no quick players at all tae hit teams on the counter. How many times today did we have the chance tae break away then end up with the defence passing it along the back or even going all the way back tae Kelly ? Only time we worried St Mirren was when Mika and Efford came on and even then it wasn’t exactly great. Kettlewell has a lot of credit in the bank but he can’t start Wilkinson and Bair next Saturday it doesn’t work.

You have a point because i was perma ragin all game today but defo didn’t notice the McGinn challenge. That wee Strain b*****d slowly walking off behind the goal to waste time as well. Brilliant banter tae see when yer team is winning as the buddies were singing his name but I could have strangled him the wee p***k . I genuinely never seen the McGinn one if I’m honest i must have been using the facilities at that point but if it was the same as Dunne’s challenge then aye it should have been a red because Dunne’s was really poor. Collum had a stinker for both teams no doubt about that. Thought Mugabi would have walked for pulling the lad down when he was through on goal. Never seen the handball shout from the away end so can’t comment on that. Dunne was a red card all day long. i’ve seen Collum send off Mugabi against Hibs for less than Dunne’s challenge.

Talking about Collum again what was the script with the St Mirren shy when he stumbled on tae the park still holding the ball ?! That must have been a foul shy at least ? Him and the lino just looked at each other and both clearly didn’t know the rules of that. Neither do i to be fair but it ain’t my job tae know that

Collum had a stinker again today. Usually he loves running up and flashing a red card but for some reason Dunne got a pass today. At least his terrible refereeing didn’t influence the final result we did that all by ourselves. Didn’t think St Mirren were great either tae be honest but still comfortably better than us today.

One of the most frustrating 90 mins i’ve sat through in my 25 years watching us. Wilkinson and Bair does not work it’s clear as fuckin day. New guy in midfield was a lost wee boy he shouldn’t have came out the tunnel for the second half. I don’t even have the words tae accurately describe how fuckin awful Mugabi is.

As a Motherwell fan i know that non OF fans claim is not true. I’ve had more than a few ropey visits to Paisley. Scottish cup game back in the day when Charlie Adam scored sticks in my mind. Back when they sold tickets out of an old burger van at the away end.

Calm down my good sir. We all know that Dundee are winning this game and we will beat Hibs to restore the natural order. We shall never again accept a season finishing below our Paisley chums.

I’ve witnessed first hand how quickly things can turn with Robinson in charge. I wouldn’t be surprised to see St Mirren have a stinker this year and Robbo being under pressure. On the other hand they may kick on again. The joys of pre season banter

He was just a battering ram for Kev which to be fair he done well most of the time. I think yer right on that one. Now you say it I remember they signed Bain instead. He was always being signed as 3rd choice for Celtic so in terms of ambition it was poor. On the other hand if someone wants tae pay me ridiculous thousands of pounds tae do nothing… i’d sign for them tae

He did nearly sign for Celtic from us. If i’m being honest I can’t remember the actual reason it didn’t happen. Think we rejected the bid because they were taking the pish but could be wrong on that

For what it’s worth i think if we are sticking with the 3-5-2 and we can get another striker in i think Fletcher would be a cracking signing. Just can’t see it happening though

Every time i’ve turned up to watch Motherwell in recent years we’ve got beat. Games I haven’t made it to we’ve won. We beat Aberdeen and Rangers when I haven’t attended so it’s probably for the best if i never see the inside of Hampden again.

If the talk of our budget being tight this year is true i can’t see anyway we sign Fletcher. St Mirren seem a bit more loose with the purse strings these days so he’ll probably end up in Paisley. Imagine Fleetwood could easily outspend us as well. Non starter for me

It’s obviously a divisive situation but the way i look at it is, when we signed KVV from Scunthorpe if you offered me his goal return that he’s gave us then we get 500,000 (if that’s even true). I would have been happy with that.

Did John Boyle not try to bring it back ? Could be wrong but I think he did and the polis told him no chance. If I remember correctly Airdrie actually have one more Lanarkshire cup win than us. If so that needs changed. Bring it back till we are top then bin it
