Borne futility : resulted in uselessness. To be dismantled 5-0 (which could easily have been 8-0) suggests a total breakdown in management to me. The loan signings have come to the club because their parent club said yes when Derek phoned and offered to pay their wages.

Spittal was pretty solid at County, he was on the bench for a good while but once got his chance nailed a place in the team. One criticism I had was his shooting from outside the box was woeful, he would regularly put the ball into the Jail when it broke to him. He has clearly improved on that aspect of his game and by all accounts is a pretty decent bloke, I wouldn't be surprised if he re-signs for you.
