Just to clarify, I do NOT think Griffiths is the correct man who will be an experienced head. He's not a Malky Shotton or Mark Kerr. That is what we need.
My point was he could be an option, when there appears to be very few options out there for goalscorers. However, as has been mentioned before he did nothing of note at Falkirk.0 -
Well to sum this up. 4 games 1 goal. Zero wins. Against 3 Lower league teams and one spfl team who are not brilliant either.
The stats of shots on and off target above screams the need for a competent striker. True, Griffiths has baggage but he also has a strikers instinct.
We have a very young team who need a smattering of experience through it. My big fear is that the younger people in the team get abused because of results/performances.
Bullen needs this sorted NOW ! If he doesn't I can see him being booted before October, which no one here wants. Im not that hopeful for the league, please let me be wrong.0 -

Are we likely to announce a new signing anytime soon?

I do like an Engerlund defeat. They take it so well......

Grief I hope it's not Broadfoot.

David Hopkin and Jim Duffy dream team. Just sayin .....

Don't forget guys, Hopkin and Duffy are still available.....

You could go for a hat trick of muppets and get Hopkin!!! Now that would be hysterically funny. For everyone else obviously....

I have absolutely nothing against Rangers. Apart from them being cheating scumbags who stole the 2002 league Cup. Then get caught then die, only for it not to matter as they are 'The People'.
Had they won there would be a great clamour to celebrate them. I can never celebrate them due to the cheating EBT years.
I am not sure which I enjoyed more, last night or Engerlund v Italy.....2 -
I am not able to go to many of the home games because of work and my location (Grangemouth), I can only justify a season ticket if the games are streamed. Finlay 21 do you know if this is the case or not? I have seen another ask the same question.

Well done Queens Park. Welcome to the Championship. Airdrie though, back where they belong.

Just a thought regarding Hughes, I think he is contracted for next season? Your board may be trying to negotiate a payoff or maybe can't afford to boot him then get another manager in.

Sorry, I must apologise to my wife and friends for the ridiculously hysterical laughter yesterday. Highlights are even funnier. Just very thankful Dunfermline managed to out shite us.

Any chance of Administration? You guys have paid a lot for those kiddy-on players. But bye bye!!

Brilliant night in store for me! Just hope Montrose can sneak a winner although with 10+ minutes of added on time the ref seems to think it's Sevco that's playing.

Although Dumfy would bring the bigger support to Somerset next season, I would only want them to stay up in preference to Airdrie. Purely down to me having nightmares with many, many Dunfermline humpings. And Airdrie being, well, Airdrie.
Just delighted we are not playing in these playoffs.0 -
Tbh I think that there is an argument on keeping a good core of the squad together. There is obvious deadwood which needs binned. Baird, Fjortof for two. However when McCall got us promoted he kept the squad together with a few additions and we came out the traps like a bullet and only started faltering in the latter part of the season. I think Arbroath did something similar this season. We do need some changes especially in defence.

Jobber management team without any doubt is David Hopkin and Jim Duffy. The worst of all possible combinations. It is a total miracle we did not end up bottom. Or rather thankfully Queens and Dumfy were even more shite.

I am glad to see the back of that season. Delighted with the last couple of performances, gives me a bit of hope that Bully now knows he can get performances out of our players.
Some (most?) need binned bit if we can keep Tomi and a couple of others along with decent recruitment, next season should hold no fears. A period of stability is needed.1 -
And to think some in our support wanted Hughes as a replacement for Hopkin. I am not sure who I want in the Division next season. I'm just going to enjoy the play offs safe in the knowledge we are not in them.
