  1. Game pass is 99p for access until the 31st July which is decent considering the content on there. Doesn’t make DAZN any better though. I refuse to watch another year of this with any of the UK coverage.
  2. One particular guy who hadn’t bothered with the away fans all game, went absolutely mental, like heart attack inducing, at the dirty orange b*****ds song in the second half. Could tell that one hit close to home.
  3. Hugely proud of that today. Sounds stupid but seeing a performance like that makes me feel like we’re coming home with a win, because things are looking up now. Great atmosphere in the away end and the mutants in close proximity were foaming at the mouth all game (see below). C6454321-79E6-4934-A336-64C57859B862.mov
  4. My day will only be ruined tomorrow by one thing and that’s if someone complains about allocated seating.
  5. Candidate for greatest first sentence on the site in P&B history.
  6. Having someone fast to chase down clearances can be the difference between the defender putting the ball out for a throw and getting up the pitch, and the defender having loads of time to turn round and put you on the back foot again. Vital in these games.
  7. Brexit had the opportunity to make one good contribution by stopping us signing him and it couldn’t even do that.
  8. While we’re on the topic of idiots spouting shite, it was nice to see Jim ‘Darvel’ Goodwin give a fair and balanced review of yesterdays game in his interview…
  9. Hasn’t been named on a bench for 2 and a half years and hasn’t played a minute in nearly 5 years. Think before you type.
  10. Definitely my four standouts. My biggest criticism of Dempsey has been him not getting stuck in and letting the game pass him by but he was everywhere today. Reading is back to linking up well with Murphy like he was in the League Cup.
  11. Usually give officials the benefit of the doubt but that was indefensible today from all 3. The happiest I’ve ever been after a loss because for the first time in months I was proud of our performance. We’ll be closer to 4th than 9th come May. McGeady is done, McAllister is so far out his depth, and I think we fucked it by putting Stanger at right back as he was playing a blinder. Would not be against playing Mutch again next week after that either.
  12. The thing that annoyed me most in the Inverness game was that Chalmers looked so easy to nullify. He never made any runs in behind and pretty much hugged the touchline whenever Ahui had the ball, taking himself out the game. On Saturday though he varied his positioning a bit more and it showed in his performance, although it wasn’t anywhere near his best.
  13. 3 times. 2011 was the one you’re probably on about that was the worst. 2016 there was a drive by with a BB gun for a laugh I think but the boy got done. 2019 was a junkie who’d had enough of the abuse at lunch off the weans and leaned out her window with one and started blasting.
  14. Auchinleck has had more school shootings per capita than probably 90% of American schools come to think of it. True story.
  15. A real architectural shithouse in a sea of modern flat-pack Lego school buildings.
  16. Auchinleck Academy was 99% Rangers, 0.5% Celtic, <0.1% Ayr Mauchline is the same. My work is the same. I’ve stomached watching us get beat off Talbot and various scuddings by these mutants. I’ll stomach another one just out of fear of not being there if we ever did beat them. As someone said up a bit, it’s nice to look round and know that you were never sucked into their scummy ways. I’ve even managed to convert an ex-fairweather h*n into an Ayr fan who absolutely loves following them about and will be in the away end next Saturday. Mon the Broon.
  17. Can anyone else watching the Fox coverage confirm that I just saw an advert for Jesus? I’d love to know if anyone has ever converted religion because of an advert. Experiment of a country.
  18. Sound like I’m being edgy and different for the sake of it here but I actually don’t mind the Chiefs. In fact if they’re going to win I’d rather they kept winning enough that they overtook the Pats and Brady’s record as I find them collectively far more likeable. Another edgy take is that I don’t want Detroit to get there or win anything purely out of selfishness as I don’t want even less diddy teams on zero bowl wins like us.
  19. Was impressed with how he started and he got beyond Murphy a good few times but felt he resorted to type as the game went on. Undoubtedly better than McAllister though
  20. Can someone compile McKenzies goal scoring stats with and without Bullen? Massive result and hopefully a game that showed the new management team what’s required to upgrade the lacklustre squad. Two full backs first of all and definitely another midfielder.
