  1. Nah I thinks it a load of Bs because Matthews wouldn’t say the gaffer isn’t keen on him to someone, and I very much doubt Murray would say to Matthews “aye Ross I’m no keen on ye, so nothings getting offered” he made him captain and I don’t think it’ll go down well with supporters if he just doesn’t offer him anything at all
  2. Aye that’s true, but I’m saying out of the 2 Vaughan is more likely to stay because don’t think any other club will take a gamble on him because of his previous injury record especially long term
  3. Out of the 2 players you’ve mentioned Vaughan would be the one likely to stay I don’t think anyone else would take a risk on him because of his injury past especially on a long term deal
  4. I wasn’t specifically saying you or QP is said some other clubs if they were to give out deals to players normally do 1/1.5/2 years apart from this year it’s rare to see 3 year deals for this division especially for someone who is close to 30 but you never know
  5. That account also has us linked with Andy Halliday ( I don’t believe this for a second btw) same with the Dom Thomas stuff but until like a Scott Burns/Craig Cairns courier or the FFP has an exclusive saying they’re signing then I’m believing nothing what I’m seeing just now
  6. I’ve got a feeling we might put a 3 year deal on the table for him as other clubs seem to only give out 1/1.5/2 year deals at this level and we’ve done it this season with Hamilton and Mullin so it is a possibility
  7. I think Easton will likely be off in the summer…. But the 2 priorities have to be Vaughan and Byrne (rumoured partick are now in the Byrne hunt) then I think Matthews will stay….. not really arsed if Liam Dick Stays or Goes/ same with Watson/ Gullan and few others
  8. Apparently partick are in the hunt for Byrne signing a PCA with them as well could just be paper talk
  9. When both Murray and Watson were fit he drops to 3rd maybe even 4th choice he was a short term fix… as I’ve posted earlier Ian Murray probably didn’t want him in the end or we would’ve got something done weeks ago rather than leave it last minute
  10. Never know we might offer Vaughan and Easton like a 3 year deal for longer Job security Vaughan would be the most likely to sign out the 2 but those were just 2 examples
  11. Tbf I think it’s surprising you’re looking at him as well (if your rumours are true) I’d thought it be certain you lot will be looking for a CH or 2 and a Wing backs because of your horrendous injury record at the back
  12. I can’t see Easton going in this window but I do think he’s off in the summer, I think it’ll be one of A Full back, A CM (hopefully turner from County) and winger
  13. Tbf I’m going down the path of did Murray really want to keep O’Reilly? if he did then something would’ve been sorted also mind he dropped the guy for a few games as well for Scott brown (a midfielder) I think Murray/Potter and Barrowman have something lined up or potentially looking at
  14. Looks like the Andy Halliday links ain’t going away and tbf I don’t see it here he fits in this team
  15. I’ve got every faith that Potter/Borrowman/Murray have something else lined up if they felt he was only worth a deal till the end of the season
  16. Dundee United don’t need a Left footed CH they’ve got Holt and that lad Graham and I doubt both teams are looking at the exact same players we are I’ve heard a few names and I very much doubt both would be looking at that the same types we are but that’s my opinion though
  17. Also dick at the end of the game on Saturday was limping a bit but not sure if it was cramp or a legit injury
  18. I meant CH but yeah he did play right back and left back for us so this Myth he can only play left side is bs
  19. Murray has played on the right for us when both Bene and Davo was here before and looked completely fine I don’t agree with this stuff he can’t play on the right side when he’s done it quite a few times in his career
  20. Tbf I think he will be a guaranteed starter when everyone is fit Watson been out for months and no indication when he’ll be back plus it’ll take him a while to get fit/ Murray has been picking up injuries here and there…. IM obviously doesn’t have trust in Corr or Masson or they’d be playing ahead of a midfielder in CH so this is best time for him I would imagine to sign an extension
  21. I’ve seen in the FFP that big Kev has been playing through injury since Dundee United and was Knocked out before the Ayr United game if that’s the case then why play him In the previous games which might’ve helped us not drop points at home
  22. If Brown isn’t in midfield and is forced to play CB which ain’t ideal then it has to be Matthews look at one of my previous posts about how Matthews is different and is the progressing the ball forward when playing said position
  23. Making 4 at once disturbed the entire flow and shape of us it was like we’re playing with 6 attackers and playing hectic football rather than trying to play and break them down
