  1. Really hope Stephen Robinson gets off to a flyer now. Don't want to see Dundee crawling up the table.
  2. Certainly hope St. Mirren beat Dundee at Dens tomorrow, would make things way simpler for County. Yet, for the life of me just can't see anything but a home win. Too much disruption with all the changes at St. Mirren. Hope Robinson / Naismith / Brown in place for it, just think Dundee more up or this and will want it far more
  3. . Dundee United & Hibs will be well safe sadly, too much quality and squad depth. Don't think St. Mirren / Motherwell as good, despite this being a 'great' season so far. Aberdeen surely too big to fall into this. St. Mirren better get the new manager choice right, otherwise they could be in danger. Can see St. Johnstone and County get few wins on the table. Maybe too late for Dundee, but County will score goals still. Saturday is massive for County, home to St. Johnstone.
  4. I can see 1 extra team at least being dragged into this, who knows, maybe even 2. Wouldn't be suprised if all Dundee, St. Johnstone and County go on winning runs, that point difference could disappear fast. Don't think there is big gap in quality between County and many teams above us. Then let's see St. Mirren / Motherwell/ Livingston / Aberdeen etc. under pressure suddenly. From a 'great' season, glancing at top 4 to instead a messy play off battle, could happen. Then nerves will hit, players will fold, fans will panic. Just takes 3 defeats or so, proper pressure then. County will pick up points, St. Johnstone are already, wouldn't write Dundee off yet either. Funny if all three stayed up!! Wouldn't write anything off this season, it's the over confidence of the teams just a few points above that could be the downfall. Long way to go yet.
  5. With St. Johnstone beating Hearts at weekend, they will be right up for this and looking to get a winning run going . Massive match, one of those that will be important not to lose. A home win would be season defining. Can't wait!!
  6. Tell that to your crap ICT team when you watch them, hear the football is truly awful!!
  7. Eh? What you on about? Thought you'd be focused on your in own team and struggles.
  8. Think St. Johnstone will stay up as well, great win for ya's. Just hope Dundee stay bottom and other teams fall into the relegation battle, want more than 3 teams in this fight.
  9. Long way to go in this relegation battle, exciting league this season. Other teams will sink into this, County will pick up good points am sure. St. Johnstone match will be interesting alright! Bad time to play when they hit form now, but still confident of at least a draw.
  10. I don't know, Dundee will lose at Parkhead tomorrow, but wouldn't be suprised if he kept them up in the end. McGhee was a good manager before. My hope is for County to drag other teams down into this relegation dogfight. 3 horse race is too narrow.
  11. Ross County have 3 huge fixtures ahead, St. Johnstone (H), Motherwell (A), St. Mirren (H), Still confident we can beat the play offs, but St. Johnstone turned the corner, just hope Dundee don't get new manager bounce.
  12. Good that it's going ahead, paid for stream. Not confident today, think Hibs will win this one.
  13. Now that McGhee getting written off by everyone, once Celtic match out of the way, wouldn't be suprised if he hits a new manager bounce, Dundee stay up somehow. Definitely a very bizarre appointment, but the guy isn't the idiot many are making him out to be. As long as you beat ICT in play offs, that will do. Can see other teams being dragged into relegation battle which will make it more interesting.
  14. Come on Hearts, this is huge for us, hit a few past St. Johnstone, you know you want them to go down and prefer the County away day!!
  15. I've been very impressed by names St. Mirren had linked with so far; Think you well may come out of this much stronger. Paul Lambert, Derek Adams, people with actual experience and decent success in past. Contacts they have will be extensive. If went for Scott Brown, he would be determined to succeed, I think there is a manager there. I know not popular as a player, but as a manager I would not bet against him being really good. Again, will have well handy contacts. Can see him to better if fiocuses on manager only, rather than player/manager though. All better than Ross IMO;
  16. Did fine at Norwich though and bound to have excellent player contacts. I reckon he'd do well.
  17. How's the weather down there, is this likely to be on? Any pitch inspections planned? Will wait till tomorrow before paying for stream...
  18. Paul Lambert would be an excellent appointment for St. Mirren, if true!! Doubt it to be honest.
  19. Also wonder why the rush? Why not give Robson a couple of weeks, see how that goes and do thorough search? Panic in Aberdeen it seems! All for Goodwin!!? A rookie!
  20. It really doesn't appear to take much to be seen as a 'rising star', these days. It"s as if lack of managers out there. Goodwin has achieved little so far this season. St. Mirren could still be relegated yet! At least with Ross his Sunderland experience is valuable. A failure at a club, can be character building. Adams has good experience too and achieved. Yet Goodwin talk of town, hehe. This is gonna end in tears for Dons. Better off sticking with Robson!
  21. Ross would be a good appointment I reckon and may well suprise you all. More experienced manager than Goodwin who many are raving about. Too early in Goodwin's career to see if he is the real deal yet, definite gamble! Suprised no bigger names being mentioned, thought there would be more experienced, proven managers wanting this job. Some must be comfortable on the golf courses between jobs. Surely some viable managers down in England....
  22. That's the thing Celtic should do, rest players next leg. Bodo done enough to go through and will be well organised at home, hit on break. If Celtic focus on lesgue, play youth players for Euro experience away to Bodo, all the time whilst Rangers distracted by more gruelling Euro matches (worth very little money reqard, not the Champions League), can see it benefiting Celtic in the title race. For some bizarre reason, I support all Scottish teams in Europe and wanted wins from both Rangers & Celtic tonight, not that it helps non old firm teams. Knew Bodo would not be easy.
