Yep the only way I would be playing McGinn is in a 5 and I wouldn't be starting that way as you lose a player in attack.
Bisland and Mackie for me. Mackie has been terrific since he came back into the team. Discipline, keep possession and defend from the front and we will be ok.
Should have been well out of sight in that game. Thought Mackie was great again and I would have kept Nesbitt on if he was up to it. I though Bisland was having one of his best games for us before being flung into an unfamiliar position. First time I've seen Goss and he is a real freak of nature, no idea if he can play football or not.
What about that clearance on the line from I think Tait? Unbelievable.
No point being critical of anyone at this time in the season, that team is leaving everything on the pitch every game.
Nesbitt was astonishing
I don't understand anyone who isn't voting for Morrison v Montrose!
A goal like that, to win the game, is amazing enough. But for me, that goal was the moment I believed this season might actually turn out to be quite good.
I had a weird feeling pre season and bought my first season ticket since we were in the premier. I don't know what prompted it given the 5 years previous and will hold my hand up and say I would also have been happy to see the back of McGlynn after the Airdrie debacle. Something made me take the plunge and I am so glad I did.
Why was Lewis Smith not starting? Only player to trouble Hogarth, who I think exorcised a few demons today.
Also, Aidan Nesbitt was absolutely outstanding. My MotM by a distance.
Outside of Burrell and maybe an Accies defender, I think you'd be hard pushed to make a case for any player ahead of a Falkirk one. 3 of the top 4 in the assists table are ours. Even the unfairly maligned Sam Long is joint top of the clean sheets table despite only playing half a season.
Yep, all for drawing a line under that particular part of our history. Today was the perfect way to do that, hopefully our paths will not cross again for a very long time.
So Morrison is the top scorer in the country, Miller has more assists than anyone else in the whole country and on current league form, 100 goals is a distinct possibility.
This team is amazing.
Ultimately what I am saying is lets live in the moment a bit longer and enjoy this wonderful season. Club still putting up great content to enjoy, there's a sad Brad McKay article to read and records still to break.
There's a long summer ahead to get bogged down in potential new signings.
Of course he will
I just think that suggesting someone like McIver isn't good enough when this season isn't even finished and he has played such an important part, is a bit unnecessary. We've scored so many goals and had such a great time doing it.
