Despite everything it should be noted just how impressive it is for us to be selling 1300 tickets or so in less than two hours on a Thursday morning. Makes you wonder what we could have taken to this game if our hosts were more accommodating.
It is a real shame though, this game should be a spectacle, the messaging from United should be about trying to pack the stadium out, not about empty seats and locking fans out.
It’s just lacking a bit of class for me. Rovers fans voted for United fans to receive more tickets for our last fixture now those same fans are locked out of Tannadice for…. Reasons? Seems very petty, playground stuff.
I managed to secure a ticket but if I hadn’t I’d absolutely be buying one in the United end. I would not want to miss the defining game of our season, having followed the team home and away all season.
