Got to say yesterday an annoying/worrying aspect of the game was Rankin refusing to make subs. Dunfermline were running at us with 4 fresh players and we hadn't taken anyone off yet until something like the 80th minute. I don't think we even used all our subs, which is bizarre given how much strength in depth we have.

You've missed the constant pulling and pushing yous got away with all game. Otoo should have been booked for his constant petty fouling that the referee seemed happy to let go then give fouls against us for. On the other hand, the Hosler one was laughable, as was the Kane one.

Also Gabe Forsyth made the bench again for Norwich today. I know we needed the money but imagine if we'd kept him and Òne....

Also that boy Fisher Dunfermline had at CB for the first half might be the worst I've seen at this level. Horror show performance.

Scrappy today but a win is a win, especially considering we had 4/5 starters apparently unavailable. Thought Martin had an excellent game, showed his class in his vision and passing. Barring a few heart in mouth moments, solid in defence. Albison wasn't troubled. We struggled a bit going forward though. The final ball wasn't there. Shaw was stupidly caught offside about 3/4 times. O'Hara should have been taken off after 70 given he was clearly gubbed. Onto the derby next week - real chance to build up momentum!

I'd be seriously worried if I was a Dunfermline fan after that. We almost handed it to yous a few times in the box and we still kept a clean sheet.

It's quiet as I've seen it here. £26 per ticket is strangling this club.

We've been terribly administered for about 10 years so no surprise there. We probably have our own burnt-out drone at HMRC at this point.

I see Dunfermline fans appear to think they're going to lose here, they're out of form and we seem to be improving with every game. Put the mortgage on a 2-0 away win then.

Honestly I'm feeling quite stoic about losing that. This was a game to get out the way with barely any available defenders. Happy we've finally scored in the championship. I'd really hope for us to pick up 6 points in our next two I think given Airdrie's form and Dunfermline's struggles.

A point away is definitely a positive given Ayr were comfortably better than us last week and we don't have a first choice CB fit. Hopefully Rankin will learn that 3 at the back won't work in this league when we're not playing against teams starting Botti Biabi or Michael Gardyne up top. Still waiting on that first goal which is worrying given how much we've invested in attack. Hopefully we can get that monkey off our back against Dunfermline - already looks like a 6 pointer.

Week 3 - Bonnyrigg Rose

This is exactly what I was thinking, but if he's still asking for mental wages then it's a big no thanks from me. A real shame for him - I remember thinking he was going to the top (certainly he always went there on FM20 ) and it's sad that his ceiling is probably the Scottish premiership at the most at this point.
