Seems United are perhaps finally learning how the game works in the Championship.
Goodwin has found his level.

League's fucked if that was the league leaders against the supposed form team.

Not confident we can get a result tonight, but would quite like to see Power and Broadfoot just wind up detestable characters like Watt all game.

Dearie me. Can't see us doing what Arbroath did last night unfortunately.

Have you considered building an energy storage facility?

Not sure why Imrie was so angry at full time, looking back the match replay on Raith TV he's going fucking mental at Murray for something, and they were in each others face at the start of the match as well.
Nothing serious, just two managers arguing about which brand of polish they use to keep their manager of the month awards shiny.

If they werent gonna sit in and defend their 18 yard line before, then they are now. Happily take any number more positive than they have.
Based on the above video, I don't think you need to be worried by their attempts at defending...

But you obviously stopped short of becoming a billionaire CEO of a global shipping monopoly because your ambition was appropriate with respect to the things you can, and cannot, feasibly control.

Inverness are absolutely smelly Wouldn’t be surprised to see them go straight down
They've won a game this side of Christmas. Have you?

Can't argue with that though.

How can you fail to see the ambition in trying to sustainably compete in this league as a community owned club. Imrie's ambition and success will eventually outgrow us and that's fine. Being able to pick up where he left off, and without depending on shady characters and crooked side projects like some of our competitors, will be a success for this club.

According to socials, it matches our longest unbeaten run in 1979/80.
In 63/64 we only lost a single league game and won 23 league games in a row. I'm guessing that streak would've been broken by some cup losses?

Wilson got off to a shaky start and I think it's fair to say that if you looked back at posts from the start of the season, most people would have been critical of the signing and his performances. But he's turned into a hard working and dependable player, and it's difficult to fault his effort.

Jim Goodwin will be raging, what a wee shame.

You mean this one?
The curse is the poor form that often comes after winning, not the award itself.
Last year Imrie was manager of the month for both January and February so he's shown he can avoid it before. Maybe, hopefully, he can repeat that with another excellent February this season.

Really not worried about us taking our foot off the gas after a big result. Already happened in the Montrose and Arbroath games and both Dougie and the players showed they can deal with it. If we get outplayed we get outplayed, can't see it however.
Arbroath are dross (sorry, tragically depleted by injury) and will do well to win another game this season. They haven't scored a single goal in 2024 and if they end that amusing run at the weekend, it's only because Dunfermline are equally as mince (sorry, tragically depleted by injury). A competent side like a resurgent Queens Park would've won either of those games.

Give them the Billy Dodds treatment and get them in a dingy portacabin.

Both teams coming off a 5-0 win will surely boost the attendance a little, so that'll be good for the money and atmosphere.
Need to get Oakley and Muirhead signed up for next season so that they get to play them another four times.

The build up to the 5th goal was comical.

Does anyone know how to get a view of the league table from, say, 3 December?
https://www.soccerstats.com/formtable.asp?league=scotland2
I think we've played 10 league games since then, so select the Last 10 tab.

Haha, points equal prizes pal. We’ve 44 in the bank, ram the rest of your stats wherever you please.
Thank you for the explanation, I'm still learning how this game works. Why did your team stop scoring points over the last few weeks? There are prizes at stake.

The limited capacity for this game is less than the attendance against Celtic in a cup game in 2010 (which broke 10,000 if I remember right).
