People don't pile on you because of your view on his team selection or squad management. They might disagree with you, but that's not where this stems from.
It's because of the fantasy world you live in where you have friends on the board who took your concerns to Imrie, who've made him re-evaluate his "policy" on young players, and that you have lived first hand experiences of such transgressions because of your own failure to break into Dutch professional football.Β
It's occasionally funny because of how absurd it is, but it's tiresome.

The recent interview with the general manager hinted at one piece of remaining business in this window, shortly before Imrie's contract extension was announced. I assume that was what he was referring to and that there's probably nobody else coming in.
Which is fine. There are some weaknesses in the squad, but no immediately obvious upgrades on what we've already got.

Even Imrie is taking the piss out of this guy in his post match interviews. Nobody is being wound up by this narrative. It's such a poor attempt.

how did you feel you played? Β Not being cheeky but you should have wiped the floor with us
Like last week's cup win against Montrose, it's difficult to complain about a clean sheet and a win in a game we 'should' be winning. But yes, we made hard work of that at times.

The spfl conspiracy against Arbroath continues.

If thatβs the case can we apply for a postponement?
Failure to fulfil a league fixture would probably lead to a points deduction - vaguely recall Hamilton were deducted double figure points because they couldn't field a team (due to players refusing to play, in that case).

The same match was played 364 days prior with Arbroath winning 2-1 despite an early goal from George Oakley to give us the lead. We would fail to beat Arbroath later in the season too. Obviously results can't be taken in isolation but you could argue that those matches cost us a playoff spot and helped keep Arbroath safe from relegation.
Arbroath had a good win against us at Cappielow in August. I'd like to see us make amends for that. We're on a good run but failing to make the most of some opportunities. Hopefully we see a more convincing performance with hat tricks apiece from Oakley and Muirhead, followed up by a theatric announcement of their contract extensions with Cappie the cat at full-time. If only.

Getting fed up of Motherwell in the cup.

French would've been difficult to replace if he left. He hasn't been that great so far, but there's hardly an abundance of good championship right backs looking for a game. Hopefully he gets back up to full fitness soon.
New guy looks interesting. Scoring goals for TNS or Connahs Quay doesn't seem that difficult, but he seems to have done quite well on loan at worse sides in that league too.

Two good signings and hopefully the first of several extensions to be announced.

Disappointed to not win that one but a point against Partick is a decent result. Decent crowd today.

What a guy.

Goodness me, something actually happened.

Credit to BBC Scotland for giving a bit of a spotlight to wee lower league teams like Falkirk.

Even more improbable was them both doing it in the same order - head, left, right?

Sportsound mentioned it briefly at half time in the Dundee Utd-Morton game yesterday, suggesting this was a formality for failing to pay tax and that it was anticipated that the tax bill will be covered by an upcoming regular payout from the spfl.

That long ball from Mullen to set up Oakley's third was fantastic.

I realise a draw is not a defeat - it just means having to think the unthinkable.
Morton went 11 league games without defeat last year, though funnily enough that streak was bookended by defeats to Partick.

Looking forward to entertaining you next season at Tannadice as well.

Theyβll definitely sit in making it a boring match. Love it for them to prove me wrong but I doubt it.
Are you entertained yet?

Morton could win this one 6-0 and Dunfermline would still have conceded less goals than you bottle merchants have in the past ten games.
