Another season of mid table obscurity for the unwashed dullards of Greenock.
A decent outcome for a team many favoured for relegation and getting six unexpected points from the third biggest team in Tayside has helped with that.

We include every ticket that has been sold for the game in the attendance. It’s really as simple as that and something that strangely seems to really annoy people. Pretty sure it’s something quite a lot of teams do.
I think people are bemused by the number of home fans who evidently don't show up, rather than annoyed by the practice.

Good to get a first win since February. Also a good result in a game we 'should' win, for once.
That aside, this was another game with an uninspiring starting eleven. Hopefully one win (in seven games) doesn't affirm that this team is working, and some of the dead weight gets dropped on Saturday.

Wonder if Ali Crawford's loan has an agreement that he plays every game for which he is available, because it's difficult to identify any redeeming qualities in his performances so far.

Good start to the half.

Robbie Crawford isn’t getting abuse off another set of fans is he? Thought he had been good for you.
Robbie Crawford is superb. Ali Crawford is mince.

Calum Waters is out of contract this summer, wonder if he has already agreed to sign with us.
Losing Strapp is a disappointment but it seemed inevitable, at one point, we would lose him anyway. Hopefully his injury hasn't tempered interest in him, because he seemed likely to move up a level

Queens going from hilariously bad to worse.

So it’s right answer for complex wrong reasons. It would be bad for Ayr to be promoted this year, simply because the proper base hasn’t yet been established to be able to properly, and financially prudently, compete to remain within the Premiership.
I don't think there's a bad time to get promoted out of the championship. I imagine it's easier to establish yourself, whatever that means, after a year of premiership gate + TV money and, even in the worst case, relegation prize money that's double what you get for winning the championship.

A late win but a deserved one. Pleasing set of results all round for us this weekend.

I don't know what Williamson offers.
Only offers his barber enough for half a haircut.

Solid start for Oakley, hopefully he keeps the goals up and spurs Muirhead on too.

Hardly a post all week from Morton fans and then they scrape a draw and then they start to post, appears that was a big result for them today.
Massive result. Absolutely delighted to escape with a point against the pound shop Ross County sitting a point above us with an extra game played.

The impending Ayr conspiracy theories about the ref will be more entertaining than the match.

At least part of that end is earmarked for residential development.
Credit to the Queens Park board, building homes for 20 people is a creative way to double their home attendance.

Penalty decision almost as bad as the playing surface. What a nick.

Anyway, top of the championship following two successive promotions, shows we are doing something right.
Aye? What's that, then?

If it displays properly this should show capacities and seating/standing breakdown for 1990-91 and 2000-01.
A small footnote that the standing number for Morton is off by about 4000 - though that was possibly the season the cowshed terracing was getting the roof fixed.

£££ is why stadia don’t get built.
Whilst that's true, those examples aren't really showing the cost of building new football stadia. They're more like residential and commercial developments that just happen to have a football stadium attached.

The late Thistle equaliser combined with your goal difference might've just managed to achieve that, despite your best efforts to mess it up.
