  1. The Dundee fans will be here in a minute as well. Because ya know... They're having the time of their life in 6th
  2. I know that's only one game but for the Aberdeen lads... That really wasn't good folks, was it?
  3. Yes. I spent the time agreeing with you. Did it take you a while to work that out?
  4. If it is wingbacks I imagine it would be Jaiyesimi at left and Keltjens on the right sure? Does look like it won't be wing backs though..
  5. Who's winning the right wing back St Johnstone raffle tonight?
  6. Fans are in completely no way fundamental in how it's designed. Fans aren't really considered at all. When it was introduced they said they'd look at ways of improving it for fans. What did they do? f**k all. Surely you've been to a game and seen that? Ive lost count on how many decision's given by VAR live where I've not had a fucking clue what it was for.
  7. Don't know how many times that needs explained to people. No wonder Wenger suggested it. Football fans are daft enough it seems to think it'll make a difference. All it does is change where the line is drawn. Doesn't solve anything. Next people will be believing the head of refereeing when he claimed the VAR doesn't get much wrong. Just get VAR to f**k.
  8. I just cannot believe it to be true!! Not itk so i reckon it's wild gossip that it's been repeated so many times people are starting to believe it's true. If it is, it'll be a laugh
  9. Heard a gossip name. Absolutely no idea if true and don't want to be the interest gossip so wont post. Quite funny if true though
  10. Another article in the press today about poor little Cantwell at McDiarmid. "Needs more protection". In reality he should have been told to shut his mouth but the referee just seems to accept being screamed at by Cantwell repeatedly. Tedious nonsense. He got booted because he was behaving like a little bitch. If he wasn't CONSTANTLY screaming, crying and flailing his arms in the air towards the referee and Saints players every time Saints had a throw in, goal kick or free kick it wouldn't have happened.
  11. By being big spenders relative to the competition. Owned by the guy who owned Mackie Motors. They were turning over 20 million a year before he sold the business to Park Group for probably many millions also.
  12. I can't see it being very much between the 3 of them. Add ons on the other hand especially for Smith and Sidibeh. Stan Harris made it fairly clear the stuff that went on under the previous regime wasn't going to continue. Cannot see anywhere near that 300k being spent. Smith would be leaving Hearts in the summer for nothing anyway and was evidently surplus to requirements. He has no future there and based on what we've seen so far he's shown very little that suggests Hearts were wrong as well! Likewise with Kimpioka. They wanted rid and we helped them out. I suspect based on the starts Sidibeh he's now getting something decent had been spent. I think the fact he didn't go to the English clubs sniffing around is more about them unwilling to meet what was being asked. Not really sure any of the three signings have shown much to suggest they'd be worth any fee whatsoever either so I guess any fee is too much.
  13. Still think folk are bit premature for calling for the sack etc. He's had one window with 50p and a packet of crisps to spend. Is it shite, yes? Thought we were a goner without question before they came in though. As I've said a couple of times I'm just more frustrated with the regression and change of way of playing when things were going well. Midweek though. No fucking thanks. 6 months ago I would have been there without question.
  14. Which week after week we don't do especially the protecting in front of them. Everyone sees it... Then the next week it happens all over again. Easier said than done I know but they management have watched the games and there suggestion was to play Carey in front of the back three - laughable when you think about it! The Dundee match was a masterclass in leaving the full backs isolated. Happened against Airdrie as well.
  15. Same with the game against Hibs after McDiarmid. I was very happy with how we went about things that day, showed positive intent and didn't just aimlessly lump it forward. I thought, maybe we've got something here but we've gone away from attempting to play that way for some reason.
  16. I know I've said similar before and so have others but we need to try and play to our strengths. The players don't look comfortable in the roles they're being asked at the moment. I'm begging Levein, go to a 4-3-3. Keljins Gordon Considine Robinson Smith Phillips (Max?) Carey Kimpioka (Sidibeh?) It gives the opportunity in wider areas for the full back to be supported by the wide man on that side as well as the central midfielder as well. Gives an additional body in the box if it's coming in from wide areas. Also means we have the bodies in midfield to complete. A few spaces up for grabs in the team as well but to me it's players playing in their natural position instead of trying to shoehorn them into 3-5-x to make sure we have three central defenders. It just hinders us in position
  17. Not really sure I get the Clelland logic. Macca did well as caretaker so we gave him the job... Look how that went. Clellands one game was a decent performance but I think that's probably more about a reaction from the players than some kind of Clelland management masterclass.
  18. There's been a clear change in how they've gone about it though. Carey deep being one of them. They've stopped playing out repeatedly from Mitov to Gordon from goal kicks - which is probably a good thing though! They make quite a considerable effort in home games against Hibs and Aberdeen playing a lot of one touch, passes around the corner in tight areas around half way etc. Now we just lump the ball down the line. We've got quick guys so let's just fire it up to them to chase it didn't always work well either but it had direction and intent - you could see what they were at least trying to do. Now we've became incredibly passive just hoping something will happen without trying to actually make something happen. We've made ourselves incredibly easy to play against.
  19. What I can't work out is why the f**k after they started getting results they thought "let's not to do that anymore. Less stop playing football in midfield and pressing whatsoever and hope for a goal on the break against the run of play". They were getting results!!!
  20. Cannot wait for him to play it sideways at every opportunity. See if they try that shite diamond shape again with a central defender at right back.
  21. Taking a short corner and trying to work a different angle when it's seconds before half time is another that just stinks. Terrible decision making. It has to go into the box.
