  1. Yeah I should have said once in 18 games. The previous one was the 29th of October.
  2. For a team with a manager who likes to defend deep and be solid defensively its quite a feat to have only managed a single clean sheet in 18 games.
  3. He has been very good for Saints. Fair play for coming back from the injury at 35. He's in with a shout of Saints POTY. As someone who has been critical of the managers signings (Including the 2 year deal for Mr Considine) and rightfully so as quite a few of his signings have been a disaster this season, Considine hasn't been one to be critical of (although time will tell whether the 2 year deal was a step to far). A rest may do him good though as he's played basically every minute he's been fit for. Although, you can keep McLennan, f**k me
  4. This deal convinces that McLennan will also be given at minimum a 2 year deal. See if we sign McLennan and allow David to leave. I swear
  5. 12 weeks, 10 weeks.. whatever it was the said. The club are saying it needed double the bedding in time it actually got and blames that on the playoff. They started playing friendlies on it prior to the league cup as well. It was horrific at that point with large very noticable gaps between rolls of turf and burn marks where fertiliser had evidently been split on it. See photos:
  6. Has there been a loss of focus/intensity due to the fact the one and only target coming from the manager was avoid relegation even when in 5th? Players subconsciously feeling like the target for the season had already been reached?
  7. Ryan McGowan. Hadn't played for months either after expecting to be out for the rest of the season. Saints fans are unhappy because it's just another home defeat. Davidson has mustered 13 home wins in something like 50 home league games. He also continuously talks completely shite in the media to the point it's embarrassing. 2 wins in 3 months as well and let's just not get into his negativity and tactical arrogance. That was about as entertaining as Saints have been for 6-7 months yesterday
  8. VAR not showing the ref other angle that showed the Celtic player didn't head it towards goal is horrendous. The angle they did show though made it look like the arm blocked a shot on goal.
  9. Don't know if it was the same group who wrecked the pub but think it was a mix of both, kids trying to annoy Saints fans and another group just being rude to staff. So All Aberdeen fan's in there faced the consequences despite many probably not doing anything.
  10. He's also partly to blame for that if the clubs "explanations" are to be believed. The reasoning the club have given is it needed work and then allowed something like a minimum 12 weeks to bed in but because his team were shite and finished 11th so there wasn't enough time between the playoff and the League cup starting so they were back using it again after like 4 weeks
  11. Their supporters were thrown out the Muirton at about 6 as well because a minority simply couldn't behave themselves. Going up to and screaming in Saints fans faces etc. So all their fans were removed. First time I've ever seen the staff call the whole security team down to the Muirton to remove fans. As for the football. Did Aberdeen deserve to win? Maybe aye, maye no? Did they take a chance? Absolutely. Did Hallberg miss one good chance and one incredible chance? I very much think so! Was it an inevitable result at home under Davidson. Absofuckinglutely.
  12. I'm going to caveat that with I'm not sure the manager agrees. Especially when the debate turns the length of the deal.
  13. May often in my opinion lacks the ability when kicking the ball. Is it technique? Certainly looks far poorer than his first spell with the club.
  14. Absolutely stinks of a Davidson team after half time thats for sure. Trying to hang on. 10 men behind the ball.
  15. Considine looked a stonewall red live. Ref didn't seem to agree though. McDiarmid pitch is horrendous. No one's been on it for weeks and yet it's worse?! Saints have done alright with 10. Hard to be critical but I'm hardly positive about Saints getting anything from the game either.
  16. Davidson is a great manager though and has done a brilliant job. So you'll hear on Sportsound from the likes of Alan Preston. He's averaging something like 6 league home wins a season or something pathetic like that.
  17. These are pieces of advice Aberdeen fans driving should follow. Otherwise you might not get home till Tuesday. Avoid coming off before Tesco and avoid turning right out of the McDiarmid top gates at full time. If you're fit and come into Perth at Broxden and park in the scheme on that side of McDiarmid and leave that way. As for the football... Saints will try to play the same way they did against Aberdeen at Pittodrie (which is also the same way they play against nearly everyone). Makes it easy for opposition managers to prepare ahead of playing Saints that's for sure. I just want Saints to occasionally try to win a game, especially at home instead of trying not to lose.
  18. Good news. At least we'll not be pissed off at Davidson tomorrow.
  19. I was as cynical as anyone when we provided a 2 year deal to a 35 year who has been out for 6+ months. He's proven me wrong so far though. He has been very good. Albeit as slow as you've expect but doesn't often get caught out.
  20. There's always going to be someone who'll argue they enjoy it more but they'd most definitely be talking shite.
