Fair enough to take the positives but it does feel like it's reaching a bit to talk it up as a good performance. Yes the defense did alright defensively but there's a significant improvement required in possession and that includes those in the back 3. We just gift possession away. I do of course hope it's turned round but for me it would need to be an almost immediate turn around but I think he needs a miracle for that to happen. (Questioning my sanity for going tomorrow)

What seems to be the issue with these referee's if if they go watch something on the monitor. Its token gesture. They're giving the decision no matter. Its like they feel pressured to do so because the other ref watching on var has decided they think its a penalty. I think I've watched 1 game ever where the referee has gone to the monitor and disagreed. VAR seems to be just re-refreeing the game rather than assisting the onfield ref to do his job. I honestly believe it'll be a complete disaster in Scotland with being continually told "its going to have issues, its just bedding in" etc etc. Fans wont have a clue whats going on, the players won't have a clue because one week a decision will be given by VAR, the next it wont be. We know for sure the referee's wont have a clue - as they already currently dont!

What they don't do is go down like they've been stabbed every time someone touches them. The muppet in question died and came back to life when Bair bumped into him in the first half as well. Miraculous recovery to complete the 90 mins without even any concussion checks for that trama he suffered to his head. What a guy.

Don't know much about Phillips but from what we can work out he's another hard tackling combative midfielder. Which immediately screams a Davidson signing. For the most part he much much prefers hard work and effort type players above players who show creative ability. So, not shocked at all that he's likely to be signed.

I'm fairly convinced no matter who we sign it won't turn it around. The issues are more engrained and won't be solved even if we do sign a good striker & midfielder. There's a clear mentality issue. You don't fail to beat the likes of Kelty, Annan & QoS and put out performances like Saturday if there isn't wider problems.

Please no. 35 year old Andrew Considine shouldn't be anywhere near left back. He can't run. Can you imagine him running up and down the wing?
