Hours later we're linked with another goalkeeper out of the blue who just so happens to be represented by the agency Alan Preston works for.... Coincidence...? It'll definitely be just a loan as well as he signed a new deal this summer.

Guess it depends on his wage as well. If there's a replacement in Mcginn & a young prospect on the edges of the team. If then O'Donnell is on a reasonably big £££ the manager may feel that wage can be better used to strengthen elsewhere in the squad. Who knows though.

For a club like Saints its always hard to attract that known, proven talent as we are all well aware of. Other clubs have had reasonable success with alternative route recruitment wise. Take chances on players or recruit from some more obscure places. Like we tried doing last season. Eetu, Bair etc. Look the success ICT had around 2015 from signing obscure nobodies. I presume though after a few failed attempts that route has just been abandoned completely now? If so, disappointing. While it's never going to bring you 100% success That's how you identify someone out of nowhere and sell for profit. It's like we've just dismissed it and gone in the polar opposite direction completely.

Annan player then hit the deck, 15 squirms later he died before coming back to life with what can only be described as a miraculous recovery. So we had to play an hour with 10 men. (still should have won). Cleary has looked likely to have a moment like that for a while.

I dont know a single person who is pro and happy with how the team have been performing under Davidson. The mass Booing week in week out also confirms the fans strong feelings. That isn't the minority booing. Anyone believing or claiming that is showing a state of delusion. The person who posted that on WAP is suffering from some weird Davidson related Stockholm Syndrome and needs help. Fans hope he'll turn it around but very few believe that has a realistic chance of happening.

The only areas I can see us investing in now is a GK & maybe a centre forward. Potentially an outside chance of a central midfielder but doubt it. We've made our move for Drey wide right with 3 in the squad to play on the left side I can't see us bringing anyone in there (+ Brown).

The one thing that fucks me off with that trial by sportscene thing they do. When incidents similar happen for or against my team, its barely given a second mention. I don't have a problem with them looking at something in great detail and giving their views on it. I just want that kind of even coverage to work not just with Old Firm incidents. As we know we see some howlers from officials week in week out across the country on a matchday. I've seen countless shockers watching St Johnstone in the last 12 months. I'm just ranting now!

Thats a good point. Reports will be put off reporting anything remotely negative about Rangers for the foreseeable. I can imagine there will be some editorial pressure to not do so as well. Not only does it ruin integrity it makes the journlists job basically pointless. Not writing what you think is appropriate but what you're expected to write. EXACTLY what Rangers want though. They've played a blinder as far as they're concerned!

I guess if there's a positive we can take (I'm trying!!!) from last couple of games. We're looking more interesting going forward - more goals?! Hopefully that'll make games more exciting generally. Even if instead of the inevitable 1-0 defeat we're occasionally involved in a 3-2 defeat
