  1. Don't listen to him. It's his attempt at a joke You'll end up stabbed/covered in old mens piss. It's a fine line in those places. You may find some Saints fans in the Caladonian. Most pubs in Perth town centre will be dead though as it's a glorified village

  3. Also played both legs of Accies Playoff final win over Dundee United. Both clean sheets.
  4. Is that your way of saying he's restricting what the press can & can't ask the manager? Sure he's not screening questions etc?!
  5. Would it not help to have media articles not solely in the Courier though. Most of us can't read them!
  6. Is he actually going to play? Or a "B" squad signing? I presumed him and Dailly were both potential signings for the latter.
  7. Looks like Saints ticket site is broken and Hibs fans cannot buy tickets. Surely that wasn't them just on sale today?!
  8. Has anyone on the banter page suggested we sign Rory McAllister yet? I see he's officially on the transfer list.
  9. Haven't been in since it got renovated. Is it still a riot? Did pass on the odd Saturday around closing and it was surrounded in police vans.
  10. You on the bus, train or car? There's a few nearby but might not tick all the boxes. There's the glover's arms - more of a restaurant but has a small outside bit and area for just drinks. No football though. Not sure on their kids rules if no food? They may also not be very welcoming to football fans after the behaviour of Motherwell fans in there at end of last season. Vandalism etc Theres the Tulloch a bit dingy and old, football on via a dodgy box kinda place. I think they'll be fine with letting kids in though. Hearts had a supporters bus last season, good chance Hibs may also this weekend! The Muirton Suite at the ground has the football on. Officially it's no away fans, so will depend if they've got someone on the door or not preventing away fans entering. Ayr fans were in there on Saturday past. Kids also allowed. Not the biggest space though. Not sure if I'm actually helping at all there but might give you of an idea where to not bother going!
  11. I feel a tiny bit more positive after Saturday. For me the first half was better and the football was played in the right manner but then let down by the lack of understanding of the situation required I think. I terms of removing the manaher. It'll continue on, until there's no return. The club simply won't now to supporter pressure - is that a good thing? Maybe? Even 6-7 points adrift at Christmas won't tempt them to sack. It'll be when the position is not recoverable or potentially after a relegation is definitely confirmed. The issue we've now got that won't help the home form is from a player perspective being constantly boo'd won't help confidence. Especially for the players in the squad with more fragile confidence. (I'm not criticising the supporters, just pointing out a potential outcome). Also, Drey Wright. Is that him injured again or was the plan potentially to just give him 45mins to ease him in as part of his recovery?
  12. If we're in a market for a centre forward. It'll end up being McNulty.
  13. I assumed when mentioned he was there because he was working/going to be involved with Ayr rather than us. Wouldn't want him in a leadership role anywhere near my club as he's a moron but I'm sure he could teach a young striker a thing or two. Richard Foster was also there. I seen him in the car park.
  14. Confidence player. Has always worked hard for Saints and been quite reliable. Struggles in Saints system sometimes in attacking areas because he's not very athletic and lacks the skill to beat a man.
  15. Positives... The first half has signs of good stuff. Midfield 3 worked I thought. It allows Halberg to be more involved higher up the park. I can accept as Saints team not be brilliant on the eye and play magical football but thought most of that first half was in the right manner. Tried playing on the foot, attempted to dominate possession and tried working it into good areas rather than it being pumped into the box at the first opportunity like they were guilty of during the early part of Davidson's first season. Convinced the players thought they were out though which is probably caused by the tone come that's out the manager. Drey Wrights delivery was of a good standard. As others have said though, who's going to score them? Cammy Macpherson's best performance for Saints I thought. Appreciate the first half performance won't come so easily against Hibs due to Ayr being not very good but if we can reproduce that first half performance on Saturday Hibs will find it hard to come away with 3 points. I could rant all day about the lack of fight to get into the next round etc but really don't see the point. Everyone else has pretty much covered that subject. It'll just get frustrated again
  16. I'm actually unhealthy angry about it. Fans called out ad moaners etc when we're getting served up a team who it seems didn't even seem to know what needed to be achieved to have a chance of going through.
  17. Big difference with the midfield with Davidson not in it as well. Ball moves much quicker and given a way much less. So far anyway.
  18. You'll get 3 interviews over the season behind that pay wall though To run a subscription service you need to know what your doing. Consistent content etc. Evidently not happening just now and is just being seen as donation service.
  19. He's done alright. Keen to see if he has end product as we've not seen that yet. He's too young for Davidson though as we know though. He'll end up out on loan if we sign someone else.
