Has anybody said that? My reading of the 2 or so comments that referenced Chalmers is that his form has went from stellar to so-so in the last few games. Which is largely true tbh. Fwiw I thought chalmers looked alright on Saturday. For the most part posed a threat and looked creative.

Brown was great to watch today. Loved it when he seemed set for a square go with mcallister, and when he hauled syla up. The high intensity, high energy kinda management is what we need. That kinda jolt can get the best outta generally substandard players. Loved it.

Rose is cack. He plays like the ball is trying to skin him. He never seems fully in control of his limbs, kinda like a guy at a game of 5s. I’d be happy with dowds playing alone with Murphy and chalmers cutting in to make it a 3.

A striker isn’t what we’re missing, so no biggie losing Rudden. Full backs are top priority. Hopefully Brown has identified that and is going all out for players in those positions. It’s been baffling the last few transfer windows when we’ve strengthened where we’re already strong (or at least not dreadful) and ignored the glaring weaknesses.
