  1. Could just be Gretna left then out the original 12 if EK go up. Edit forgetting Gala Fairydean Rovers
  2. The pyramid idea dates from over 20 years ago. The Juniors did gear up for it with the Super Leagues which amalgamated in the West Region's case, the best of the Central and Ayrshire Junior Leagues. The East did the same. I don't think any Central League club had to go much more than 40 miles for a league game. How far say from Vale of Leven to Lanark? That was the extreme. The Super Leagues went a bit further. Cumbernauld to Girvan at a push. One man put the boot in for years and the SFA eventually went out alone with the LL, probably being pushed by UEFA to open up football. Recent Women's football dates to around the same time. You want in Europe then open your clubs to all the community.
  3. Can't be too many of the original LL clubs left from that first season.
  4. Home base of a well known family Firm
  5. Rangers v Hearts final in May at Hampden. Can they beat last year's attendance of 10500?
  6. Doubt we'd have heard of some of these clubs but for one man in the Juniors going all out to save his SJFA honorarium. Would teams like Broomhill (LL version) or Caley Braves/Cumbernauld Colts want to play in the Wosfl?
  7. Just like the Irish boat, league football will leave Stranraer for good. Hello non league.
  8. Tried to sniff around Petershill Park and were told to bolt.
  9. Glasgow Women formerly Glasgow Girls (that's girls not ghirls) play there as well. Although they received serous money via the UK government to put a plastic pitch and floodlights in at Budhill beside Shettleston Station. So standby for Caley Braves doing a moonlight at some point. To add to the groundhopping musical chairs watch for Broomhill and Motherwell Women jumping into Strathclyde Park as soon as the other two leave.
  10. The Lowland League needs a strong Stranraer.
  11. Genuinely can't see a problem in any of that. Hopefully Rangers B and Hibs B can get in the LL.
  12. Or how do you get there if you don't have a car.
  13. Petershill sat like a snowman at the top the league for months until the good weather came, then melted away.
  14. The promotion across the board is bizarre. Look kids, do your apprenticeship in the freezing cold watching a lack lustre international team and whatever club team you fancy. And then you can watch the real thing and leave the kiddie on fitba behind. Hawd oan, here's auld Rose to clap ye on the heed out at Alloa. Rose, the great heroine of Scottish Fitba that the authorities hated that much they banned her for making 2 bob out the game. Now she's feckin Flora Mcdonald. Strange but true, wummin's fitba was once a summer sport in Scotland but they didn't tell anybody.
  15. Did you look at the Demolition Cup final report on this Saturday’s game between the Sosfl rep and Bo'ness Athletic which appears strangely enough on the Wosfl website fixture list. Now within the lifetime of the average Wosfl Blazer they've managed to go from doon the pit, whippets and real bread to a report spookily written by AI. Read the report and tell me that ain't Chat GPT.
  16. Could have told us if the ceiling has finally given way in that Chinese restaurant/takeaway in Castle Douglas.
  17. They know of EK Dodgy even in the Highlands
  18. Oh well, the pyramid was a nice idea while it lasted.
  19. Trying to work out why the Blazers didn't just give Buckie the old Rangers licence.
