Are you really comparing actual society to the football world? Life isn't a competition where you're up against one another, football is.

Do McDonalds share their profits with Burger King because they're bigger? Do Sky share their profits with Channel 5 because they're bigger? Do Adidas share their profits with Slazenger because they're bigger? Or is part of the reward of being bigger that you earn more money than your smaller rivals?

The truth is we already give back to Scottish football through carrying the coefficient on our backs & giving opportunities to more clubs that they wouldn't have without us. It's then down to the other clubs what they do with those opportunities & whether they can maximise it or not. To say though that we need to share the income that we generate with you though is absolutely mental. We're in direct competition with you ffs.

Out of curiosity I've just checked where FC Zurich are in the Swiss League atm. They're bottom. Last. 10th of 10. Why do other SPFL fans put such low expectations on their own teams? Hearts should be beating the bottom club in Switzerland.

My god, GIFUY! All I've done is give my opinion & the way a lot of people feel. For doing that I've been called thick & accused of being on the wind up - stop being touchy & open your eyes! The deck's not stacked against the diddy clubs in Scotland in a way different to any other league & they find ways to be competitive and get European results. I want the standard to improve, I want Scottish clubs to stop embarrassing the league in Europe - and btw those clubs only have that opportunity because of Celtic carrying the coefficient on our back for so long. Don't be so defensive when someone doesn't cheerlead for your point of view, or thinks the biggest club in the country isn't actually responsible for the league underperforming. But aye, just keep on voting my posts down - constructive that, not petty at all!

It's not double standards at all. We all play in the same league system, under the same rules & regulations and have the same opportunities. Celtic have earned the right to generate what we generate, in the same way any other Scottish club could have. The other European leagues are on different playing fields to us so it's not even close to being a fair comparison.

Bodo Glimt would beat clubs like Bournemouth & Fulham, so I agree that your point is totally irrelevant.
