  1. Yep, he's a pler. See also Lucas Vasquez.
  2. I reckon Nacho is a good candidate for most "unsung hero" in the history of football. About 15 years of playing backup to arguably the best centre back pairing in club football history. Can play full-back either side equally well. Never see him having a bad game.
  3. Arteta is a Lego haired fraud. He should have been sacked when he had Arsenal hovering above the relegation zone.
  4. Barcelona are a hideously unlikable club. Always have been tbh. This is why I quite like Real Madrid. They're very unlikable to many for valid reason, but there's no pretension about them. They don't care whether or not you think they're the villian. Whereas Barcelona have this holier than thou, "mes que in club" nonsense going on despite being a cheating, corrupt institution with some of the biggest diving, cheating, sourpussed c***s to have ever played the game. What a rancid club.
  5. No offence, but this is a highly stupid and reductive take on what managerial success is. Please do better. Thank you.
  6. O'Donnell should be no where near the squad, it would be outrageous nepotism if he is selected.
  7. Ralston has always been fine for Scotland. Not worried if we need to play him.
  8. Jackson needs to be given a reducer in training tomorrow morning. Pathetic fucking child, can't enjoy something going well unless he's the one getting attention for it. Hate having to deal with folk like that
  9. Big Branflakes at the back for Everton is just a gangly Harry Maguire. 100 million they want for him
  10. Do you really think this is true? That the standard of EPL player of today isn't considerably better than the one of 25 years ago? I think you're dead wrong tbh. Its a bit cliche, but sports science, nutrition, and the level of professionalism expected of a footballer today has increased exponentially. The level of finance available to clubs, and the receptiveness of clubs to sign non-uk players has increased the potential player pool, and as a result the skill floor required to be an EPL is also higher.
  11. Just posted about this on the twitter thread as well. These are my favourite responses I saw on twitter. How dare all these child hating, woman hating bigoted incels
  12. Terminally online losers having a heads gone at a pub being child free Genuinely stunned at the discourse this has created.
  13. This is objectively the best players in each position in PL history Van Der Sar No one - Terry - Ferdinand - Cole Vieira - De Bruyne - Gerrard Salah - Henry - Ronaldo There's not been a right back worthy of being included. Please don't @ me with any 90s plumberball era frauds
  14. Patrice Evra Never watched Irwin but can guarantee you was shite as well considering he played I the plumberball era
  15. Making fun of someones poor English/accent is not racist. As much as I agree it was totally out of order patter. I'm assuming that's what your referring to
  16. Well thats Man City all but confirmed champions. Arsenal gonna Arsenal. Might be on the harsh side, but Raya is a bit naff at both of those goals. That's them gone through two first choice goalies now, and both of them are significantly poorer than Emi Martinez. Selling him continues to be a shocking piece of business
  17. Could see Liverpool doing a Man Utd tbh once Klopp finally leaves. Well, maybe not quite to that extreme, but that's Robertson, Salah, Van Dijk, Matip all into their 30s now. They'll be needing a succession plan for them, and their big money signings over the last few windows have not been brilliant, with the exception of MacAllister. Nunez, Konate, the Hungarian and Gravenberch have been OK at best.
  18. I've listened to it about 6 times now. It's pretty dull tbh. The first half is pretty good, the 2nd half drags. Ice Cream Piano is a tremendous song, but the rest of it ranges from utter tedium (The Surfer, Hope, Capricorn, Pravda) to decent at best (Connect, Prep-School Gangsters, Mary Boone). I'll keep listening to see if it clicks further, but for me it just doesn't have that energetic, punky spark that the first two albums had. 6/10 Speaking of lacking an energetic, punky spark; The Libertines album is also pish. Boring beige indie rock.
  19. The annual Morton spring collapse happened. Just like it happened last year, all of the Duffy seasons in the Championship, 2012-13 season, most of the Division 2 seasons and so on. Its like a hereditary disease at this point. Can't even be arsed watching this game on the telly tbh. Ready for the season to finish.
  20. 3-0. Ooft. The Klopp Farewell Tour coming crashing down one tournament at a time. Pleasing. Kelleher awful at two of the goals BTW. Pundits everywhere have been trying to christen him as the second coming of Lev Yashin.
  21. Is it common for departments that work closely together to despise one another, or just my work? I work within the corporate triangle of accounts, finance and purchasing and everyone here fucking hates each other. The blame game when something goes wrong, constantly trying to palm to work off to other departments, feigning incompetence when they can't be arsed helping with another departments queries. Tiring stuff.
