For me it's horses for courses , can see him playing mainly as an attacker but much depends on how our other strikers do , as him on the left and Strain on the right might work too is we,re chasing a game . Different set ups are required for Different games and a players versatility allows for significant changes to formation mid game.

McMenamin can play on the right or on the left either as a winger or a wingback as well as through the middle as a striker. Whilst I think we would prefer to see him at the top end of the pitch , I think he's versatility will be hugely beneficial.

Exactly as I see it . Young guys need regular games every week and it makes sense to put them out on loan for the first half of the season . That said I round like to see Fraser Taylor and Ethan Sutherland feature at some stage against Montrose .

I think Strain could play right back in a back four , right back in a back five and right midfield in a four man midfield. Excellent right sided player in my opinion .

Would like us to try and keep Baccus and Strain this transfer window and target a strong start to the season .

Can't see us getting much more than £30k . That's about as much as Carlisle, Hartlepool, Barrow etc can pay . But I think your right , Carsons agent will have been trying hard to get him a move .

Carson will want to sort things out with Robbo . No bonuses if he s not playing or not on the bench . If he,s not in the starting eleven he will still get bonuses if he,s on the bench . That will be money he wont want to miss . If he does go , we need it sorted soon in time to get a replacement . Can see him staying snd fighting for his place though . Another couple of Signings and he will be counting all those win bonuses he could be getting.

I personally would prefer we made a move for Main . That said Fletcher would be a fantastic coach / help for Offord , Jamiesons and Greives development.

Not long turned 17 either . Think he left Rangers youth set up to join us . Don't know where he is from and why he left . Born in 2006 . Look forward to seeing him play .

Curtis Mains work rate and style of play suits us . He had a score rate of one in four from open play which isn't too bad either . Hoping for a recommendation from Martin Foyle for another striking option , and that we can sort something out for McMenamin to complete our striking options.

We must be due a signing soon . Would like Curtis Main before League Cup games , would Hope McMenamin is still about , and that we are also interested in signing a third attacking players .

Can't see the point of going for Bruce Anderson even if we got him for nothing , doubt he,s any better than Greive ,just think his name is being mentioned as part of the silly mind games with Glentoran .

Main will be great for starters for our league Cup campaign.

I enjoy the league Cup sectional games , gives us a chance to see new signings ( if we get any ) and to see if any of the young players have kicked on .

I hope so . McMenamin could put in his transfer request , which would be %5 more money for Glentoran and Saints could increase their sell on percentage . Hoping that no bid for the player comes out the blue . The player wants to come to us which is a massive plus .

I think they have played us to generate interest of the players availability. Clubs that might not have been aware of McMenamin have now been made aware of his availability. But will they pay £150k and a decent wage for a relatively unknown player . They have already brought his replacement in at no cost , and it is worth noting that his replacement Daire O'connor played for Cliftonville at the same time as McMenamin and went to Ayr United where he made little impression. So there is no guarantee of highly rated players coming from Northern Ireland and setting the heather alight . I'm not convinced the deal is off .

Think the player will have a chat with the chairman and force the move . The player can refuse to go to another team and play out the rest of his contract at Glentoran . We have made a fair offer , and if he is as good as they think he is , there is a good chance they will make a few bob out of a sell on fee .

Realistically we can make three decent signings and maybe get a couple of loans in and keep hold of OHara , Baccus and Strain , which would give us our best ever squad in recent years .

I'm thinking Robinsons first choices would be Main and McMenamin. The idea of suggesting interest in other players is a reminder to others to make their minds up .

I've never seen Bedeau play , but I'm thinking he,s a centre half that's left footed , who can play centrally or on the left side of three central defenders . Was thinking he would be taking over from Shaunessy.
